[Fenrir and Reinward have been tasked with staging a coup in the city of Westgate to stop the evil vampire lord the Night King from doing the same. As of right now - the coup had begun!]

DAY 559 (13th Eleint)(September)

Fenrir and Reinward were coming back from their favourite place - Gondeth's Mageries with new magical items. Reinward had treated himself to a "Skin of Celestial Embrace" and a human sized suit of magical Gnome Twisted Cloth armour.

In the street they were suddenly accosted by a large group of watchmen lead by Lorak Shaymer. You may remember that Fenrir had had trouble with this fellow on several occasions before and he had been raising a rebellious faction from within the ranks of the watch. As well as all that lot there was a company of the mercenary band that was under the control of the Night King - Carlos's Company. There was also a Watch Sergeant called Rotrick Parseman.

There was also a strange magical fox ahead of them, whose presence was never really explained.

A huge street rumble ensued. Reinward took to the roofs and hid behind a chimney while Fenrir blasted away on the ground, sending watchmen flying everywhere.

Reinward spotted a wizard up on the roof too and killed him with a dagger to the eyeball. This was a young man called Fizbert "Fizzy Wizzy" Blottworth who was on a gap year before planning to go on to University in Waterdeep. How he got mixed up in all this was anyone's guess. Well, he's dead now.

Fenrir shouted out something along the lines of 'Shaymer is the bad guy, not me!'

'You killed the Croamarch!' yelled back Rotrick. 'Submit yourself to arrest!'

Fenrir shrugged and kept blasting. Watchmen and mercenaries landed some blows on him, but they were all outmatched. As they broke and run, Reinward sniped from the rooftop. Shaymer was killed and Rotrick dragged his body away. As the others fled away, Fenrir signaled to Reinward to let them run away.

He looked around the street junction where the battle had taken place. There were over a dozen smoldering bodies scattered around at his feet. He could see terrified people cowering in doorways and behind windows. He gave them a wave then stooped down to start looting the bodies.
