Favourite batting partner (kl-shreyas)

"Say I'm your most favourite batting partner" Virat was asking Rahul to say that since the past 15 minutes . Rahul tried to ignore him at first, but that's Virat we're talking about.
"You're one of my favourite batting partners" Rahul said quite frustrated now. He was trying to talk to Athiya, but this man wouldn't let him
"No say I'm the most favourite one" Virat said poking his shoulders with one finger, to gain his attention.
"You're my most favourite batting partner along with Shreyas" Rahul said still texting Athiya
"When did Shreyas come up to the most favourite?" Virat was horrified at this change, he was supposed to be Rahul's one and only favourite batting partner.
"Since this world cup, now can you go please? I'm trying to talk to Athiya"
"But you can't say that in front of him, he'll just be get more egoistic "
"He'll still be way less egoistic than you"
"Rahuliyaaaaa, you're supposed to be on my team"
"I stopped doing that a long time ago"
"But..."
"Can you go? I'm trying to talk here " Rahul was frustrated, way too frustrated. He wanted to kick Virat out, quite literally.
Virat sighed dramatically feigning a heartbreak and went to Rohit, to apparently complain about how Shreyas stole his position.
Shreyas was jumping with joy, he had heard Rahul saying he was his most favourite batting partner too. He waited for Rahul to finish talking and then he made his way towards him.

"Hey" Shreyas greeted smiling shyly
"Hi?" Rahul looked at shreyas raising his eyebrows, he looked like a teenage boy, who had been proposed.
"Well, um that partnership against Netherlands was destructive"
"Yeah, we both scored a century, how amazing" Rahul looked at shreyas who was still smiling like that
"So am I your favourite batting partner because we joined the most runs for the 4th wicket?" Shreyas asked eyes gleaming now
"Well that too, and because your calls are really proper. Unlike Virat, who used to confuse me in the beginning. Now our running is pretty good though "
"Well, it's a flex"
"What is?"
"That I'm your favourite batting partner "
"And why is that a flex?"
"Because you are KLassy Rahul"
"Well you are fiyer too. So am I your favourite batting partner?"
"Ofcourse you are" Shreyas said with utmost honesty and admiration.
Rahul took him in a side hug at that

"Heyy, you kicked me out and you're hugging shreyas " virat's voice was accusing
"He wasn't irritating me like you " Rahul deadpanned
"Ofcourse he wouldn't, he was not the one whose position was snatched " Virat said scowling
"Virat bhaiya I didn't..." Shreyas started to explain
"Don't explain shrey, he's just a bit moody today. I'll take him. Bye " Rohit said dragging a screaming Virat away
Rahul looked at them and chuckled
"Don't worry, he'll be fine" Rahul said
"Well I hope, otherwise I'm going to be getting death stares all day" Both of them laughed at that and went behind the pair of chaos that just went out
