Upon arriving at the apartment, Caden's father turned to Eve, a serious expression on his face. "Eve, I want to give you some advice," he said, his voice stern but kind. "Please be careful. This is your own space now, and you need to protect it."
Eve nodded, understanding the gravity of his words. "I understand," she said, her voice soft.
Caden's father continued, "Don't invite other people, especially boys, into your apartment. I don't want you to jeopardize your chance of graduating from high school because something bad happens."
Eve felt a chill run down her spine as she considered his words. She knew he was right, and she appreciated his concern for her safety and future.
"I promise, I'll be careful," she said, looking him in the eye. "And I won't let anything jeopardize my graduation. I've worked too hard to let that happen."
Caden's father nodded, looking satisfied. "Good. Remember, we're here for you if you need anything. Don't hesitate to call us."
With that, Caden's father and mother said their goodbyes and left, leaving Eve alone in her new apartment.

Now, Eve found herself alone in her new apartment. She began to unpack her belongings, placing them carefully in their new spots. She hung her clothes in the closet, put her books on the shelf, and arranged her personal items on the dresser.
As she moved around the apartment, she felt a strange mix of emotions. She was excited about starting this new chapter in her life, but she also felt a bit lonely without Caden and his family around.
After several hours of unpacking and arranging, Eve started to feel the exhaustion setting in. Her muscles ached and her eyelids felt heavy. She looked around at the apartment, satisfied with her progress. Most of her things were in place, and the apartment was starting to feel like home.
Deciding that she had done enough for the day, Eve changed into her pajamas and crawled into bed. The bed was soft and comfortable, and she felt herself relax as she sank into the mattress. As she closed her eyes, she felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over her.

The next morning, Eve was jolted awake by the shrill sound of her alarm clock. Blinking sleepily, she glanced at the time - 6:45. With a groan, she forced herself out of bed and into the shower.
The warm water helped wake her up, and soon she was feeling more alert. She got dressed in her school uniform, brushed her teeth, and grabbed a quick breakfast before heading out the door.
She then made her way to the bus stop located in front of her apartment building. The morning air was crisp and cool, and she pulled her jacket tighter around her as she waited for the city bus that would take her to school.
As the bus pulled up, she climbed aboard, scanning her bus card before finding a seat. The bus was mostly empty at this time, and she enjoyed the quiet ride as the city slowly came to life.
Looking out the window, she watched as the familiar scenery passed by. The journey to school was a bit longer from her new apartment, but she didn't mind. She used the extra time to gather her thoughts and prepare for the day ahead.
Then the bus stopped at a bus stop near the school, and Eve had to walk 15 minutes to get to school. As she walked, she took in the sights and sounds of the city, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead.
Suddenly, the sound of a motorbike engine caught her attention. She turned to see Brixton, a classmate who lived nearby, pull up next to her on his motorbike.
"Hey, Eve! Why are you walking to school?" he called out.
Eve smiled and shrugged. "Just trying to get some exercise, I guess," she replied.
Brixton grinned. "Well, hop on! I'll give you a ride."
"Thanks, but I think I'll walk," she replied coolly, trying to keep her emotions in check.
Brixton looked a bit taken a back but didn't press the issue. "Okay, suit yourself. See you in class," he said before driving off.
Eve watched him go, feeling a mix of emotions. She was still upset with him, but a small part of her regretted turning down the ride. She shook her head and continued walking towards the school, determined to put the argument behind her and focus on the day ahead.

As Eve arrived at school, she felt a sense of relief that she had made it on time. She decided to take a moment to collect her thoughts and sat down on a bench in the park nearby. She watched as the other students hurried past her, eager to get to class.
As she sat there, lost in thought, she suddenly heard a voice behind her. It was Brixton, and he was holding something.
"Hey, Eve," he said, sitting down next to her. "I figured you might need this."
Eve looked at him, surprised. She had forgotten all about her book in the heat of the moment.
"Oh gosh..my book! Thanks," she said, taking the book from him.
"I found this spectator seats during yesterday's match, you just left your book just like that."
"Oh,I'm sorry, I forgot."
Brixton nodded, and they sat there in silence for a moment. Then he spoke up.
"By the way..Why did you take the bus today?" he asked.
Eve shrugged. "Just felt like it, I guess. Why do you care?"
Brixton looked at her, a hint of concern in his eyes. "I don't know, just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Eve softened a bit at his words. "I'm fine," she said. "Just needed some time to clear my head."
Brixton nodded, and they sat there in silence for a few more moments. Then he stood up.
"Well, we'll should probably get to class," he said.
Eve nodded and stood up, feeling a bit awkward. She wasn't sure how to act around Brixton after their argument, but she didn't want to make things worse.
As they walked towards the school, Brixton broke the silence. "Look, Eve, I'm sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean to upset you."
Eve looked at him, surprised. She hadn't expected him to apologize.
"It's okay," she said, still a bit guarded.
Brixton sighed. "No, it's not. I shouldn't have said what I did. I was just frustrated."
Eve nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. "Okay, apology accepted."
They arrived at the school gates, and Brixton turned to her. "So, are we good?"
Eve smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "Yeah, we're good."
Brixton grinned back at her. "Great. See you in class, then?"
Eve nodded and watched as he walked away. As she headed towards her own classroom, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Brixton. Maybe they could be friends after all.
