Dexter woke up early on Saturday morning, his mind still reeling from the accusations that had been thrown at him the day before. As he lay in bed, he couldn't help but wonder who could be behind the rumors.

Suddenly, it hit him like a ton of bricks. Brixton and his gang. They had always had it out for him.

Dexter jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed. He knew that he had to get to the bottom of this once and for all. He grabbed his backpack and headed out the door, determined to confront Brixton and his gang.

As he walked down the street, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He had never been one for confrontation, but he knew that he had to stand up for himself this time.

When he arrived at the gang's hangout spot, he could see Brixton and his crew lounging around, smoking cigarettes and laughing. Dexter took a deep breath and approached them.

"What do you want, Dexter?" Brixton sneered, his eyes narrowing.

"I want to know why you're spreading lies about me," Dexter said firmly, his voice steady despite the fear he felt inside.

Brixton laughed. "What are you talking about, man?" he said. "We haven't been spreading any lies about you."

Dexter didn't believe him for a second. "Don't lie to me, Brixton," he said. "I know that you and your gang have been trying to turn people against me. But I won't let you get away with it."

Brixton stood up, his face contorted with anger. "You think you're so tough, don't you?" he said, taking a step closer to Dexter. "Well, let me tell you something. You're nothing but a loser, and nobody likes you."

Dexter felt a surge of anger rise up inside him. He wasn't going to let Brixton and his gang push him around anymore. "I may not be the most popular guy in school," he said, his voice rising. "But at least I have the courage to stand up for myself. You and your gang can say whatever you want about me, but I won't let you bring me down."

Dexter watched as Brixton and his gang slunk away, their heads hanging low. He knew that he had won this battle, but he also knew that the war was far from over.

As he walked home, he couldn't help but think about Eve. He missed her so much, but he knew that he couldn't see her again, at least not for a while. He had to focus on regaining his reputation, and then maybe, just maybe, he could be with her again.

Dexter started typing a message

"Hey"
"I miss you,Eve"
"Can we talk?"

Dexter waited anxiously for Eve's reply, his heart racing with anticipation. But after a few minutes, he realized that she wasn't going to respond. He felt a pang of disappointment, but he also knew that it was for the best. He couldn't risk Brixton finding out about their relationship.

Dexter sighed and put his phone down, feeling defeated. He knew that he had to focus on regaining his reputation at school, but it was hard to do when he couldn't stop thinking about Eve.

As he lay in bed that night, he couldn't help but wonder what Eve was doing. Was she thinking about him too? Did she miss him as much as he missed her?
