As they walked through the park, Dexter suddenly stopped and turned to Eve with a smile. "Hey, I just remembered something," he said. "I owe you a treat for coming to watch me play basketball."

Eve looked at him quizzically. "What do you mean?" she asked.

Dexter grinned. "Well, today I won the bet with Brixton, right? So, I would treat you to whatever cafe you wanted. So, what do you say? Are you in the mood for some coffee and pastries?"

Eve's face lit up with excitement. She loved trying out new cafes and sampling their different treats. "Yes, please!" she exclaimed.

Dexter laughed and took her hand, leading her out of the park and towards the nearest cafe. As they walked, Eve couldn't help but feel grateful for her friendship with Dexter. He was always there for her, whether she needed someone to talk to or just a fun afternoon out.

As they entered the cafe, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled their noses. Eve's mouth watered as she scanned the display case, trying to decide what to order.

Dexter grinned at her excitement. "Go ahead, get whatever you want," he said.

Eve smiled back, feeling grateful for his generosity. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she could always count on Dexter to be there for her.

Eve scanned the display case and decided on a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino. She placed her order with the barista, and Dexter ordered a latte and a blueberry muffin.

As they waited for their order, Eve turned to Dexter. "Thanks for treating me, Dex," she said. "You didn't have to do that."

Dexter shrugged. "Of course I did. You came to watch me play, and you deserve a treat for all your hard work."

Eve smiled, feeling grateful for his thoughtfulness. As they sat down at a nearby table, she savored the warm, flaky chocolate croissant and the rich, velvety cappuccino. She couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her.

Dexter looked at Eve and said, "Honnêtement, je t'aime vraiment"

Eve looked at Dexter with confusion as he spoke to her in French. She didn't understand the language, but she could tell from his tone that he was being sincere.

"What did you say?" she asked, curious.

Dexter grinned mischievously. "Oh,the meaning is you're cute as a pig," he said, laughing.

Eve rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile at his playful teasing. "You're such a goofball, Dex," she said, shaking her head.

Dexter chuckled. "I know," he said. "But seriously, Eve, I'm glad we're friends. You mean a lot to me."

Eve felt a warm feeling spread through her chest. She knew that their friendship was special, and she was grateful for it. "You mean a lot to me too, Dex," she said, smiling.

As they left the cafe, Dexter led Eve to his motorbike. He handed her a helmet and helped her put it on before getting on the bike himself.

"Ready for a ride?" he asked, grinning.

Eve felt a rush of excitement as she climbed onto the back of the bike and wrapped her arms around Dexter's waist. She had always loved the feeling of the wind rushing past her as they rode through the streets.

"READY !!"

As they weaved through the traffic, Eve felt a sense of freedom wash over her. For a moment, she forgot about all her worries and just enjoyed the ride. She felt grateful for this moment of escape, and for Dexter's company.
