Me and Ellie had found lots of things.

First we found bullets,

Then we found books.

Carmilla

Gosh I love that book.

It's a gothic vampire love story.

I remembered reading it in middle school.

"You like to read?"Ellie bragged.

"Yeah it's like, when you read you are in that story"I explained.

"Pathetic"she scoffed.

"Excuse me?"

"Reading is pathetic,just like you"

"Well playing the guitar is also pathetic"I cross my arms.

"You are just saying that to defend yourself"she rolled her eyes smirking.

We finished our patrol as we headed back to Jackson.

"So...about your bite mark"she mentioned.

Oh no..

"What about it?"i ask.

"You didn't turn"she didn't seem suprised.

"I know...and I don't know why"I look down.

"Are you immune?"

"I guess..."I shrug.

"Dont tell anyone,hide your marks as much as you can"she added as if she knew what to do.

Why..

"Why do you know about this?"i ask her.

"Because I'm Immune too"

Ellie is Immune.

"When was the first time you were bitten?" I ask.

"When I was 14..I had to hide my mark till I got a tattoo and that pretty much was a lifesaver"she explained.

Oh so that tattoo..

"Should I get a tattoo?"i Tilt my head slightly.

"I don't know if that will look good on you Bri"she grinned.

"Stop calling me that.."

I didn't really remember much of my childhood..

All I remembered was being alone...

I don't have any parents,or so I thought.
But I was always alone.

"You have any parents"I ask.

"Nah,I just have Joel."she says.

"I've never seen him before"I mentioned.

"You will one day,he's always busy but he will be there"

"So,have any friends?"i ask.

"Yeah my friends are Dina and Jesse"she smiled at herself.

"Why do you keep asking me questions"she nagged.

"Okay, geez I won't"I stopped talking.

We arrived in our house.

I went to my room changing when I suddenly heard the door bell ring.
I ran to the door as I opened it.
There I saw two people,
The girl had long black wavy hair and tan skin as well as brown eyes.
The boy had black hair and brown eyes.

"Who are you?"they both look at eachother asking me.

"I'm-"
"This is Brianna"Ellie said behind me.

"Ohhh the new girl in Jackson"the girl smiled.

"I'm Dina and this is Jesse"she said.

I just stood still awkwardly not saying anything.
"We came here to tell you guys that there's gonna be a party here in the bar on Saturday"

"Great"Ellie groaned.

"You guys are coming right?"they both looked at us.
"No-"
"Sure we will go"I smile at them.

"Great we will see you on Saturday"

Ellie gave me a dirty look.

"What?"

"Just forget it"she left.
