A few bullets in and I'm ready.

I waited for Ellie to get ready, she made sure to bring lots of bullets incase we needed them.

It was Spring.

The sun shining outside as little children played outside in Jackson.

I haven't heard from Jordan anymore.
I was worried.

Did she really like me..?

I don't deserve her...

Ellie took my hand as we walked outside to Tommy's office.

"Hey kiddos"Tommy said smiling at both of us.

"Hey Tommy"I say.

"Okay for the patrol I want you to go to a cabin that's 2 miles away from here,there's rumors that it has lots of health supplies and herbs that is good for medication"

"No problem Tommy,we will get them"Ellie nods.

"Make sure to have your guns ready,there may be infected nearby"he looks at us with a serious face.

We borrowed one of Tommy's horses as we shared.

It was a white horse with great speed,

Ellie of course rode it while I held her tightly.

"This is terrifying,I feel like I'm gonna fall any second"I say as I hold her waist tightly.

"Hold on tight"she says smirking.

"Cut it out" I blush.
"What? I didn't so anything"she tries to hide her laugh.

"I know you are teasing me!"I cross my arms but I smirked too.

"Don't you love spring"I ask feeling the wind.

"Nah I like Autumn more"she shrugs her shoulders.

"Is it because of my birthday?"I laugh.

She nods laughing too.

We have arrived as we saw a little cabin infront of us.

It looked old and abandoned and looked like if we opened the door something would jump out any second.

I got off the horse as I grabbed my gun.
"You stay behind me alright?"I take her hand.
"It's okay I got this"Ellie takes her gun out.

I put my gun down as I held Ellie tightly.
Ellie opens the door as we saw nothing but darkness.

"Seems like there's no infected"

Suddenly a runner jumps on Ellie as I panic.
"Get the gun!"Ellie raises her hand.

I take the gun as I shoot it's head.
The runner falls on the floor like it was nothing.

I breathe heavily.

"That was terrifying"I look at her as I give her a hand,

"Are you Alright?"I point out.

"Never been better."she winks at me.

We both go inside looking around.

It looked cozy from the inside but was pretty old and dirty,

"Looks ancient"I raise my eyebrows.

"Probably from 1980s,"Ellie shrugs.

I walk to a big table and saw random papers about healing supplies.

It should be useful.

I take it all as I put it in my backpack for later incase it was needed.

"Did you find anything?"I call.

"Yeah just a few knives,could be useful you know"

I open a cupboard as I grab a few boxes of Ibuprofen and Aspirin.

Next to the cupboard was a picture frame.
I looked closer as I saw a two girls who looked like they were Inlove.

I mean I'm guessing they are by the way they look at each other.

I smile.

I walked over to Ellie watching her take stuff.

She was so concentrated on finding supplies as she didn't realize I was behind her.

So fucking cute.

"You are so cute,you know that?"I smile trying.

She turns to me as she smirked.

"We're you watching me?"She grins.

"Yeah?So what it's not like I'm gonna eat you"I laugh at her.

"Hey I found cyanide.."Ellie brings it closer to me.

"What the fuck...isn't that like poison..?"I flinches as she showed me.

"It is..I'm trying to decide whether I should take it or not..you know could be useful"Ellie shrugs.

"Don't take it..that stuff is dangerous"I touch her shoulder.

She puts the Cyanide back as she gets up.

"I'm gonna go to the garden to see if there are any herbs"I quickly kiss her cheek as I go out.

I was definitely looking for mint leaves.
I opened the door to the garden as there was lots of plants that were dead.

Or not.

I looked around for mint leaves.

Ugh they are all dead.

I left as I headed back to Ellie.

"I think we are done"

Ellie takes one last look before she takes my hand and leads me out.

We arrived back in Jackson bringing the horse away.

"Movie night?"I give her a grin.

"Sure"

We went to Tommy's place giving him all the things we found.

"Thanks girls",he smiles.

"Tommy,we found some cyanide but Brianna said I shouldn't take it".

"That's fine,that Shit dangerous anyway"Tommy points out.

"Well if you will excuse us, we are having a movie night." I wink at Ellie who blushes.

"Bye kiddos"Tommy waves.

We head out as I hug Ellie from behind.

Ellie giggles as she kisses my hand.

We went to our house to have some alone time together.
