It was past midnight.
Me and Ellie Slept on the bed together as we cuddled.
suddenly I didn't feel Ellie's body on mine anymore.
I slowly opened my eyes as I saw her walk out.
It took me a minute to realize what actually was going on around me.
I get up without making a noise.
I take a peek as I see her walking around the house.
What are you doing Ellie.
She was dressed up too.
She took out her bag as she started to pack.
I slowly walked behind her watching her.
"Hey"I said softly.
She turned to look at me but looked away.
She gets up and stares at me with a face of disappointment.
"Hey.."
"Come back to bed"I say.
"We'll talk about it in the morning"I sigh.
"I have to finish it"she admitted.
I stood still looking into her eyes.
"You don't owe Tommy anything.."I tell her.
"I don't sleep,I don't eat I'm-"she breathes in.
"I'm not like you Brianna.."she looks at me with coldness in her eyes.
"What?"I couldn't believe it.
"You think this is easy?"I scoff.
"For you and for him,I deal with it"my lips trembled.
"I love you-"
"Prove it...stay"I whisper.
Ellie looks down..
I knew she wasn't gonna stay..
She wants to kill Abby...
She wants to put herself in danger.
"I can't."she muttered.
I look at her in disappointment.
"So what I'm suppose to sit here and wait for you?"I put my hands on my hips looking at her without breaking down into tears.
"For god knows how long,thinking you're fucking dead the entire time?"
"I don't plan on dying"she said not looking into my eyes.
"Well neither did Joel."I shouted.
I was shocked of what I just said...
I shouldn't have said that.
Ellie looks at me as she grabs her bag but I stop her.
"Hey.." I cub her cheeks looking into her gaze.
"Hey,come on.."I whisper.
"Ellie don't do this.."I beg with pleading eyes.
Ellie takes my hand and strokes it softly,"No".
Tears formed my eyes as I let her go..
"I'm not gonna do this again.."I cried.
"That's up to you."She said with no emotion.
I watched her slowly leave and take her stuff with her..
I can't do anything anymore.
She's gone...
I watched her open the door as she leaves without saying goodbye.
Ellie is gone...
