School was chatoic as usual, spider, dusty, ant, Noah and moth sat at there normal table in sluts listening to dusty rant about his dads car being taken the night before at the party.
Spider listened to his friend as his thumb gently rubbed moths leg where his hand layed.
"I mean, who the hell would take my dad's car and crash it?" Dusty questions in annoyance and Noah looks at him
"They also robbed the place they crushed into" Noah quips and dusty gives him and deadpanned look, moth chuckling
"Maria Clarke can you please make your way to my office" the principles voice rang through the speakers and the girl gave her best friend a confused look who just shrugged
Spider glanced at her in question but all she could do was shrug collecting her stuff, on her way out many of her friends calling out "ooo you're in trouble" making her roll her eyes flipping them off.
Getting to the office she is greeted by the principle and her brother who sits in a chair bruises and bandaids covering his face
"What the fuck?!" Moth calls out in confusion at seeing her beat up brother and gets scolded for "language" but she scoffs
"No I'm not gonna watch my language. What the hell happend?" She asks turning to principal woodsy who sighs
"I don't know. He showed up asking for you" she says and moth looks at her brother who doesn't look her in the eyes
"Maria, are your parents available to come get him?" Woodsy asks and moth shakes her head
"No. They're not in town" moth says blankley woodsy staring at her in silence for a second before sighing
"Alright. You take him home and help him get better, I expect to see you tomorrow" woodsy says sternly, writing down something before signaling for the siblings to leave and moth grabs Mason with a sigh
The bell rung just as the two left and moth thanked the gobs as she spotted the sluts class begin to leave
She is quickly spotted by spider whos lips twitch up as she walks towards her there friends doing the same
"Hey little man" Noah says to Mason roughly patting his head making him groan
"Whoa.. What happend to you?" Ant asks and Mason looks away moving closer to moth With a frown making his sister sigh
"I have no idea. He just showed up." She informs her friends who nod
"Whoa that's a shiner bud" dusty pips up taking in the boys appearance, he did in fact have a pretty large bruise forming ok his left eye but masom simply looked away grabbing moth
"Can we go?" He mumbles out and moth sighs nodding her head and turning to the boys
"Sorry" she apologizes the boys shaking there heads
"Don't be babe" spider says walking over and cupping her cheek placing a short gentle kiss to her lips making her smile and Mason gag
"Feel my pain mate" Noah says to mason getting a small smile from the boy before moth grabs his and noahs shirts lightly
"Come on trouble maker. I'll see you guys tomorrow!" She calls after the group who all yell there goodbyes as she drags the two boys out of school and to the car
"Mason what the hell happend?" Moth asks as the three enter noahs car and Mason glances to her before looking at noah who looks back at him through the rear view mirror
"I'll tell you at home.." Mason mumbles which confused the two since he would tell Noah everything more stuff then he told his sister but the two teens nodded nonetheless sitting in silence for the rest for the ride

At home the siblings said goodbye to Noah who decided it was better for them to be alone and talk
The two walk into the empty house both of there parents were at work
"You're lucky mum and dad are at work mate" moth teases lightly but doesn't get a reaction and sighs
"Alright, what happend?" She questions sitting down on the couch and patting the seat next to her Mason flipping down next to her and letting his head fall onto her lap
"Wow that bad?" Moth gasps out slightly surprised by the affection
"They wouldn't leave me alone.." Mason mumbles out almost inaudible and moth furrows her brows
"Who?" She questions
"These two guys at school!" Mason shoots up in annoyance
"They won't leave me alone! They keep going and going and then they said something about you and I! I just snapped..." Mason rants before his voice breaks slightly and he lowers it looking away from his sister
"Did you get good hits in?" Moth asks after a moment of silence Mason glancing to her before nodding
"Good! Those assholes deserved it!" Moth cheers pulling her brother into a hug and he chuckles
"But you're gonna get in trouble, you know that" she states with a sigh and Mason nods again
"I know.. dads gonna be so mad.." He mumbles out leaning into his sister
"Let's not think about that, right now let's get you patched up!" Moth states grabbing masons hand and pulling him to her room the boy whineing the whole way
In her room moth gently cleans her brothers cuts, having had practiced on her best friend and boyfriend many times
"Can you.. Um.. Not tell anyone please.." Mason suddenly asks and moth glances at him in slightly surprise before her face softened
"Not even noah?" She asked slightly teasingly knowing how much the boy liked him but he shook his head
"No, please" he pleaded and moth chuckles airily patting his head gently
"Of course, you're secret is safe with me" she smiles before turning serious
"But if these kids do anything again. Don't retaliate like that, come and get me, please mas" she pleades softly and he nods leaning into moth who wraps her arms around him,
She felt horrible for not noticing her brothers struggles but she was damn gonna make sure that didnt happen again.
