WARRIOR OF THE MIND

FIRST OF ALL WE GET BOMBARDED WITH ATHENA'S MOTIF, REVERSED VOCALS AND A CLOCK TICKING (AT 120 BPM)

Okay now that that's out of the way the clock ticking stands equal to one of Athena's powers: Quick thought. Athena basically 'pulls' people out of the world in this other dimension where time doesn't exist, so that they can have an entire conversation in an instant following the real world time. The clock ticks at 120 BPM because when you got that speed, you've entered the techno-genre music, and gods have more electrical style instruments and music of course.

[ATHENA]
Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you?

These lines show us that

1. Athena sees that Odysseus' way of thinking and acting has changed, and has quite some opinions on that.

2. Athena has known Odysseus for a long time.

3. Athena has trained Odysseus to be a kind of person exactly like how she wanted it.

First of all, that riff oh my fucking gods😻

Anyways, we get another one of Athena's motifs (A-B-Cb minor). Also, trying to play the right hand is like impossible.

On to the lyrics: Athena's the goddess of wisdom of course, but the way she says all these stuff shows how proud she is of her titles. And how determined she is to keep them. She can't let Odysseus spare people and have mercy, as he's her Warrior of the Mind. The other gods know that. Seeing Odysseus becoming soft will embarrass her in front of the other immortals.

[ATHENA]
I had a challenge, a test of skill
A magic boar only the best would kill
One day a boy came for the thrill
A boy who's mind rivaled the boar's own will

Surprise, that boy is Odysseus. Apart from that, Athena had summoned the boar because she wanted to see who she could recruit to be her pupil. Odysseus, who's cunning was greater than the boar's strength, managed to kill the boar and therefore attract the attention of Athena.

[ODYSSEUS]
Let's go!

[ATHENA]
Maybe one day he'll follow me
And we'll make a greater tomorrow, then they'll see
I know he'll change the world

Another example of Athena's need to prove herself, "Then they'll see."

If there's a problem he'll have the answer

What can I say? Athena has a lot of expectancies, that for sure.

Hahahaha

Before Odysseus begins to sing, we can hear the reversed vocals again. They don't stop playing. Athena is using her power 'Projection' to hide herself from the boy. Athena may have been able to hide her image, but not her presence.

As Odysseus sings, his lines are supported by the Danger Motif. He doesn't know who's watching him, and as far as he knows it's someone dangerous.

[ATHENA]
Well done, enlighten me, what's your name

[ODYSSEUS]
You first and maybe I'll do the same

[ATHENA]
Nice try but two can play this game

As Athena starts singing we can hear the guitar again. Odysseus was using his cunning, and is still doing it.

Athena's A-B-Cb minor Motif is back. Whenever something powerful is shown of her, whether it's Praise, her own titles, or emotions (foreshadowing lol), this motif is heard.

Most people (including me) like to imagine that when Odysseu says "Bestest of friends!" he holds his hand up for an high five. When Athena says, "We'll see where it ends", she walks past him and skips the motion. As Odysseus says, "Okay", he lowers his hand again. This fun little thing has shown itself in animatics, tiktoks of Jorge recording the Troy Saga and more, and I absolutely love it.
