I looked down at my phone, tapping my foot lightly on the carpeted floor, waiting for Joseph to come out to the lobby from his appointment.

It's been about 3 months since his injury. From what it seems like, it's been getting better. He still isn't able to fully walk on it, but it's not in as much pain as it was before.

My phone starts ringing out loud, grabbing some of the attention of the people in the lobby. I give them a quick apologetic look before quickly accepting the call, not even knowing who it was. I just needed the sound to go away.

I exit the building and lean up against the wall, bringing the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Novalie. How's Jospeh doin'?" I immediately recognized Josh's voice.

"Hey Josh, I'm currently waiting for his appointment to be over. He says his knee isn't in nearly as much pain as a month ago, so that's good."

"Yeah, are you going to be coming back to work soon, we miss you."

I giggle lightly. "I'll take to Joseph. I really don't wanna leave him but at the same time he has been begging me to go to work for at least a month so I'm thinking I'll come this Friday."

"Oh okay. Sounds good. Tell Joseph that we're all thinking about him."

"I will. Thanks for checking in Josh."

"Yeet!"

"I swear to god-"

I got cut off by him hanging up. I swear, he is so childish sometimes. But I'm not complaining, 'cause Jon is worse. Not gonna lie.

"Whatchu doin' out here?"

I turn around and see Joseph standing there, propped up with his crutches. I slide my phone into my pocket.

"Josh was calling me. Sorry. How did it go?" I ask, walking up to him.

"The doctors said that it's healing pretty well. I should be able to walk sometime in the next month or two. Then I can start working out 4 months from now if it's still not bothering me."

"Wow. A lot of stuff to remember but that's good. Welp, let's go home shall we?" I ask, wrapping my arm around his waist.

"Yep, let's go."

I help him in the car before I get in the drivers seat. I buckle up and start the car, pulling out of the parking lot.

"So, I'm thinking about going to work this Friday. Are you okay with that?" I ask, grabbing Joseph's attention.

"Yeah, of course. You should go. You've been trapped with me for 3 months already." He claimed, sounding guilty.

"Aww" I mumbled sadly, rubbing his shoulder as we approached a red light.

"I'm totally fine with being 'trapped' with you for 3 months. I'll be fine if it's longer. I just wanna be with you and help you out, okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks love."

I love when he calls me that.

"Of course baby. Now, let get home."

I walked through the backstage hallways of Smackdown for the first time in 3 months. It always felt so weird being here without Joseph.

I decided to make a stop by the girls locker room before heading to the guys. I approached the locker room door, knocking on it twice. I hear faint shuffling on the other side before it opens, revealing Trinity.
