"Hey dad!" I exclaimed as I embraced him in a hug. I was able to have the weekend off to hang out by my dad, and probably visit Michelle as well. Joseph had a live event on today, but he was going to come visit tomorrow.
"Hey sweetie. How are you doing?" He asked, releasing the hug. I let out a breath, resting my hand on my 4 month pregnant stomach.
"I'm doing okay. Taking off of work. I guess traveling too much isn't good for pregnant women, and I travel a lot." I chuckled. He nodded his head.
"Yes it is. Alright, come in."
I walked into my childhood home, feeling instantly relieved. Joseph just had a week off of work, but know since he is back, I decided to stay with my dad for a bit.
"You hungry at all?" My dad asked, leaning up against the kitchen island. I chuckle, lowering my head slightly.
"Everything I want is literally horrific." I mumbled, causing my dad to laugh.
"Are those weird pregnancy cravings already starting to kick in?" He asked. I nodded my head, causing him to chuckle again.
"I can make you a salad?" He suggested.
"Ooh! Do you have those really good croutons?" I asked. He smirked and nodded his head.
"Then yes please!"
My dad started making the salad, leaving me to be in the living room, sitting on the black leather couch. I looked at the TV, watching the boring news my dad always has on.
A few minutes later, my dad come over and sat down by me, handing me my salad. I thanked him before picking out a single crouton and popping it in my mouth.
"How is Joseph doing at work?" My dad asked me. I looked over at him. "He is doing really good. He is getting involved in a lot more matches, which is great." I said before taking a bite of my salad.
"Yeah, that is good. Is he working full time?
"No. He refused to work full time so he could stay home by me for some time as well. I hate the fact that he isn't going to work as much, considering this is literally his life."
"Well, that just shows you how much he loves you. He will choose you over anything. That man loves you." My dad explained. His words hit my heart. And what made it better was the fact that he was right.
My attention was suddenly drawn to the sound of the front door being knocked on. My dad placed a hand on my knee.
"I'll get it. You stay here and rest." He told me before sitting up from the couch. I watched him as he exited the living room and headed towards the front door. I heard distant chatter before I heard footsteps gradually coming towards the living room.
"Mama Novalie!" I heard Michelle squeak as she came into the living room. I chuckled and placed my salad bowl on the coffee table, embracing in a hug with my best friend.
"How are you doing!" She asked me as she sat down next to me on the couch.
"I'm doing good. I'm so glad I don't get morning sickness. That would suck."
"That would suck. How far along are you?
"Sixteen weeks." I replied.
"Damn girl. You still got long ways to go!"
"Don't remind me." I grumbled, laying my head back. She perked a brow. "Why?" She asked.
"I have been suffering without a glass of champagne." I groaned, rubbing my hand down my face. I heard my dad chuckle from the other room, making me chuckle as well.
"Welp, that's the pain of being pregnant. How would you feel if I brought out a glass of champagne right now and sipped it by you?"
"I would snatch it from you and throw it across the room."
Michelle laughed lightly, rubbing my shoulder. It felt good being around my childhood friend.
"Is Joseph at work?" She asked. I looked down at my watch, reading 4:00pm.
"He should've ended around forty-five minutes ago. He is coming by when he is done with the live event." I explained. She hummed and nodded her head.
"You makin' any new albums? Or are you just on tour right now?" I asked Michelle, taking a good bit from my salad.
"Nah, not at the moment. I'm just on tour right now. I am actually going to the UK next month and doing some concerts there." She explained. My eyebrows permed up in amusement.
"Damn, that's awesome. I've been to the UK once. For a pay per view." I said."Yeah, I heard it's beautiful. Jess is also coming with me." She said, referring to her husband. "Aw, that's good. You know, I still feel so bad for Joseph. My pregnancy is keeping him off of work for a lot of time, and I don't really think that's necessary. I can take care of myself. I want him to go to work and do what he does best."
"But then he won't be happy Novalie. He decided to stay with you because he wants to take care of his wife who is carrying his baby. He decided for all of this to happen. He knew what the outcome was gonna be if you got pregnant. He just wants to be by his wife through this wild journey. He loves you."
"Ugh, yeah you're right. Everyone keeps telling me that too. I guess I am just getting too ahead of myself." I responded, rubbing my forehead with my hand. "You are. But, let's go do something to get your mind off of it. We can stay in the house and do something." She offered. I smiled lightly and nodded my head.
"Sounds good."

"NO! I AINT GIVING YOU NONE OF MY MONEY!" I exclaimed, cupping the paper dollars to my chest.
"Bitch GIMME THE DAMM MONEY! YOU LANDED ON MY PROPERTY!" Michelle yelled back at me.
"YOU HAVE LIKE... 10 FUCKING HOTELS ON YOUR LAND!"
"SO? GIMME MY MONEY!"
"What in the hell is going on?" Me and Michelle heard a voice ask. We both turned around, seeing my husband standing there with a confused look on his face.
"Novalie landed on my property, and she owns me $2800. But she is REFUSING to give it to me!" Michelle whined.
"YOU WOULD BE TAKING LIKE... A THIRD OF MY MONEY. I ain't giving you shit." I replied back. Joseph lowered his head with disbelief.
"Novalie, I have never seen you this intense over a game of monopoly."
"This is so stupid..." I groaned, handing over the money to Michelle. Her face beamed up like a little kids when she grabbed the money from my hands.
"Alright, we are done with this game." I spoke, getting out of my chair. I walked over to my husband with a smile on my face.
"Hey baby." I greeted, placing a kiss on his lips. He smiled back at me.
"Hey babe." He chuckled, still replaying the whole situation that happened a minute ago. "I got your favorite." He spoke, lifting up a Jimmy John's bag. I gasped.
"Omg! A chicken sandwhich with bacon, pickles, onion, olives, mayo, and honey mustard?" I asked, taking the bag from his hand.
"Novalie. What the hell kinda sandwich is that?" Michelle asked, giving me a confused and disgusted look.
"It's a sandwich that is hella good." I spoke. Little did I know that Joseph was shaking his head at Michelle, disagreeing with my opinion.
"It sounds disgusting, sorry."
"Eh, that's fine. Pregnancy cravings are kicking in girl, so be prepared."
This chapter was so boring
I didn't know what to dooo
But I am SO EXCITED for the royal rumble. Our girl Trin is expected to come back.
She lost her title the other night, so I think that is the best way to end her Impact run.
