you fall asleep on her when she's hanging out with the girls

Danielle's laughter brought a smile to your face as you lay on the sofa with your head on her lap.

Your eyes were closed as you slowly started to fall asleep as she and the girls talked and laughed together.

It's been some time since Danielle has been able to spend time with the girls outside of anything to do with work and she was having so much fun.

So, as tired as you are, you're not telling her because you don't want to ruin her fun.

It's not that late but you've had a very busy week and you're exhausted.

So you can't seem to fight the sleep that's starting to overwhelm you.

"Is she asleep?" Minji asked.

Danielle stared at you and stroked your cheek as you opened your eyes.

"I'm not asleep... yet."

"You're tired?" She frowned. "Baby, let's go home then."

"No." You said. "You're having fun with the girls and it's not that late. I'm just very tired. I was going to get a little rest while you keep spending time with them."

Danielle looked hesitant because she wanted you to be comfortable, knowing that you'd be most content if you were cuddled up in bed with her.

"Are you sure? I want you to be cozy."

"Baby, I'm much more comfortable than you realize. I'm so content right now. Trust me, I'll be okay getting some rest right here with you, just like this." You promised as you gently grabbed her hand and wrapped your fingers around hers.

She smiled happily and leaned down to kiss your forehead softly.

"Okay. If you're sure."

"I'm sure, I promise." You said as you closed your eyes once more.

The girls all smiled to themselves at the sight of Danielle just staring at you with eyes full of love.

They know how deeply in love she is with you and it melts their hearts to see her so happy, especially since they adore you very much.

"Sleep tight, baby. I'll wake you up when it's time for us to go." She said and kissed your head lovingly.

You were almost asleep, too tired to say too much, so you just smiled as her lips brushed softly against your head.

You heard her soft voice as she and the girls continued to talk and laugh together, though a little quieter now so you could get a little rest.

And as Hanni spoke about something, Danielle leaned in and whispered in your ear,

"I love you so much. Sweet dreams."

And her heart swelled as she watched you sleep soundly, so in love with you that words won't ever be enough to express it.
