This story is not like many others. But that's only my opinion anyways. You might learn a thing or two about certain things like how to get to know your enemies, and how you can't trust everyone you meet in life. People have their ups and downs, family and friend problems, and just other random stuff that could happen to you. But you really wouldn't expect this much, especially in just a few years. Before we get into the story. Let me remind you that people may not seem the way you think or how others say they are. Who knows, you could end up making friends with your enemies or meeting new people along the way. Or maybe those new friends turn on you and go back to the dark side.

My name is Kaimana and I have a twin brother named Kamari. Now seeing how we are girl and boy, we almost looked identical for some time. We looked the same when we were babies and then you could have told us apart after the age of 2. But looking at us now, we still looked the same. Lots of people these days would still mistake me and my brother for each other and it got a little annoying after a while. We have many similar traits like hair color, skin tone, height (at first), and even our voices sounded the same for a few years. Then days later, Kamari got a haircut so we wouldn't have to stress about this anymore.

Our lives are not like any other kids our age and honesty, I was kinda scared of what I was becoming at first and what my life was going to be like in the future. Lots of kids when we were younger had somewhat normal lives but for us, it was different. I never expected anything like this to happen to me and family or understood why things happened the way they did but I guess this is how it's supposed to be. Like I said, I don't know why. But after thinking about everything, I came to a conclusion. In life, I may not be happy with how some things turned out but on the other hand, I'm really happy they did because I wouldn't have experienced what I did.

Me and my brother are about 15 now and we have the most amazing adoptive parents ever. But before we continue, let's go back to our past to know how and why things happened the way they did.
