When you look back at your past what do you think of
Are you holding onto everything you consider your painful memories
That time mum wasn't there for you, that your dad was always busy working and all those times your siblings tormented you
or the good times that happened
Learning to dance with your mum, learning how to work on a car with your dad and playing at the beach with your siblings

As much as some of my books if you've read them are about pain and hard time I do always try to hold on too the good times

Thinking back at my childhood I never knew true friendship until I met the friend that inspired this book to be started, she has been there with me through so much
Even when we are far apart we both know we can talk whenever we need it
No matter how long it's been since we have seen eachother it's always like we were never apart when we get too catch up
And with the difficulties she has had she's always been a big inspiration to just be true too who I am

She always reminds me of the first couple of sleep overs we had when we were 10
we thought we were cursed
One of us kept being sick and the sleepovers kept being cut short
Don't even remember how many times we tried before we were able to have a uninterrupted sleepover

Also likes to remind me of the time she was over  for a sleepover over and my room was so trashed my mum and brother came in with a bin to take everything away.
I climbed in the bin and started trying to stop them after I realised they were serious

We all need that friend we turn too when times are hard or you just need someone too talk to because your going through something just too hard to go through it alone, willing too stay on the phone for hours with you or until you fall asleep
Maybe they remind you of who you are when others are trying to convince you that you are changing too much or about how much you have changed since you were younger and a bit more stupid and that it's completely normal to change a little bit as you grow up
