Not everyone has a hidden agenda, most do these days because they are only thinking of themselves
So when people come across someone that actually has no hidden agendas, no motive to what they are doing except wanting to help and they actually have a genuine heart they get confused and often start pushing their own motives onto them insisting there's more too it
When if they took a step back they would realise there wasn't
But not many people do that these days they keep insisting they have an agenda until the person with that genuine heart finally realises it's not worth trying to prove a point and simply walks out of their lifes
And often it's only once the person has walked out of everyones lifes that they start too realise but then alot don't even want to reflect on what they projected onto someone else so they continue to think there's that hidden agenda
