The rain fell in a steady rhythm, mirroring the tumultuous emotions swirling within Y/N Hughes. She trudged through the wet streets, her heart heavy with betrayal.
Jack Hughes, the older brother, opened the door, his eyes widening in concern when he saw the tear-stained face of his niece. "Y/N? What happened?" he asked, pulling her into a comforting embrace.
She couldn't hold back the sobs any longer. "He cheated on me, Uncle Jack," Y/N choked out, her voice breaking with each syllable. "I don't know what to do."
"Y/N?" Luke questioned, rising from the couch. His protective instincts kicked in, and he crossed the room in quick strides, enveloping her in a tight hug. "What happened, sweetheart?"
She tried to speak, but the words caught in her throat. Jack stepped in, gently guiding her to the couch. "Sit down, Y/N. Take a deep breath. We're here for you."
Luke sighed, his eyes filled with a mix of empathy and anger. "I'm so sorry, kiddo. No one should treat you like that."
Y/N buried her face in her hands, tears streaming through her fingers. Luke sat beside her, rubbing her back soothingly. Jack paced around, his mind racing with the desire to confront the boy who had hurt his niece.
"Listen, sweetheart," Luke spoke gently, "you deserve someone who values you, who sees your worth. This is his loss, not yours."
Y/N nodded, sniffling as she tried to compose herself. "I thought he was different, Dad. I trusted him."
Jack, unable to contain his frustration any longer, clenched his fists. "I can't believe he would do this to you, Y/N. Where is he? I'll have a word with him so will half of the devil's team." the team knew y/n since she was a little tot so understandably they are protective of her
Luke placed a restraining hand on Jack's shoulder, silently communicating that they needed to focus on comforting Y/N first. "We'll deal with that later, Jack. Right now, our priority is helping her through this."
They spent the evening talking, sharing stories, and distracting Y/N from the heartache. Luke and Jack took turns offering words of wisdom and comfort. Despite the pain, a sense of unity formed within the small living room.
