The meadow echoed with the sounds of battle as Pikachu and Raboot, under Ash's skillful guidance, emerged victorious against Kyle's Pokémon. The defeated Ekans and Koffing returned to their respective Poké Balls, leaving the meadow in the aftermath of the skirmish.

As the tension lifted, Ash, Pikachu, and Raboot turned their attention to Kyle, who wore a forced smile that couldn't conceal his true allegiance. Goh, standing at a distance, now fully aware of the deceit, watched with a mixture of relief and concern.

"You're good, Ash," Kyle admitted begrudgingly. "But this isn't over. Team Rocket always has a plan."

Before Ash could respond, a voice rang out from the shadows, revealing the presence of Jessie and James, who had been observing the battle. Meowth, who had been unabashedly cheering for Ash during the entire showdown, stepped forward with an unapologetic smirk.

"Consider this my resignation, 'cause you two stink!" Meowth declared with a dismissive wave of his paw.

Jessie and James, caught off guard by Meowth's unexpected rebellion, exchanged shocked glances. "What?! You traitor!" Jessie screeched.

Meowth rolled his eyes. "Traitor? Nah, I just appreciate a winner when I see one. And Ash here just showed us all what a real Pokémon battle looks like."

James, still processing the situation, stammered, "B-B-But Meowth, we're a team!"

Meowth crossed his arms defiantly. "Yeah, a team that's been losing for way too long. I'm out. Good luck with your next hair-brained scheme."

Pikachu and Raboot exchanged amused glances, recognizing the irony in Meowth's sudden change of allegiance. Goh, witnessing the unexpected turn of events, couldn't help but feel a sense of bewilderment.

Jessie, seething with anger, pointed an accusatory finger at Meowth. "You'll regret this, Meowth!"

Meowth, undeterred, shrugged. "Regret nothin'. I'm off to find some real winners!"

As Meowth strolled away with luggage in hand, Pikachu and Raboot couldn't resist a satisfied smirk. The meadow, still bathed in the glow of victory, bore witness to the shifting dynamics of alliances and the unexpected resignations that defined the world of Pokémon.

And so, beneath the fading sunlight, victories and resignations played out, leaving the meadow with the echoes of battles won and alliances broken, a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of friendship and rivalry in the Pokémon world.
