Chapter 3

Amethyst's POV

"3 minuets till show time boys!" Their stage manager tells them.

They all scramble to get ready but I stop Ashton. "Hey Ash. Do you think you can have me and Karma preform the song Dirty Dancing? It would mean a lot to me and I'll repay you." I said as I winked at him.

He bit his lip, "I'll try cutie."

Ashton's POV

Gosh she's hot. She's not the girl that took my virginity. She was shy. She was the girl with dark brown hair and scared eyes. She was a wallflower. Now she's confident and just not afraid to speak her mind.

"Hey boys. Ya know when Amethyst was playing Dirty Dancing? Wouldn't it be cool if her and Karma did the song together?" I said biting my lip.

"I don't know Ash. What if they're not good." Michael protested.

"But what if they're good Mike. That's the thing none of us know but when Amethyst played a bit of it, that shit sounded awesome. And she did it on acoustic. Think about it with bass and guitar and drums. Think of how awesome it'll be. And I get a break cause Karma knows how to play the bass." Claim said while smirking.

"What about me getting a break Period Head can play guitar." Michael said.

"You don't deserve a break you're an ass!" Luke said but then clamped his hands over his mouth.

"Shut it breadstick!" Michael said.

"It's better when Amethyst says it.." Luke mumbles.

"Yeah that's true." I say.

We agreed on letting the girls do the song and we finish getting ready and go out. The curtain was down and we got into position.

"SYDNEY AUSTRALIA WHATS UP?!" I yell into the mic. Everyone screams "WE ARE 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER."

We play Heartbreak Girl, Don't Stop, Rejects, some Nickleback and then Calm starts talking

"We have two special guest today! They're our friends. Karma and Amethyst!" He said as they came on the stage. Calum handed Karma his bass. "The girls are going to preform a song called Dirty Dancing! Hope you guys like it!" He said.

Amethyst POV

I smiled and went up to Luke's mic and took it off the stand. "Hello Sydney! I'm Amethyst and the one on bass is Karma. I'll be doing the singing because Karma the delicate flower doesn't feel like straining her voice." I said as I smiled at Karma.

The guys started playing the music and I put the mic back on the stand.

Then I started singing.

I did a hair flip and grabbed the mic off the stand and sang with passion.

I looked over at Michael and sighed.

I looked back at Ashton and winked at him causing him to almost drop his drumstick.

I started screaming the next part and everyone went crazy.

It went a bit slower and Karma looked at Kieran who's in the crowd and sang the next part.

She laughedat him and then I leaned against Michael like we were back to back.

The music stopped and everyone went crazy. I smiled, "Thank you Sydney! Love you guys. Thank you Ashton-"

Karma piped up "I think she means Daddy." Everyone started screaming.

"SHUT UP KARMA! Thank you Ashton for letting this happen. Thank you for hearing the song and everything haha. Like I said we love you guys. Bye." I said as I handed the mic back to Luke an ruffled his hair making him squeal.

Karma and I went backstage and waited for the guys to finish.

"You guys killed it." Michael said as he came off stage.

"Uhh thanks I guess." I told him.

"Uhh your welcome I guess." He said mocking me.

I rolled my eyes and Luke surprisingly hugged me, "Uhh Luke?" I said but then smiled and hugged him back. We broke after a few seconds. Michael stared at us with a pissed off look on his face.

That's awkward..

"So um I heard that you guys had a band in America." Ashton pipes up.

We start talking about the old band. Honestly I feel like I've known the lads for all my life.
