The Avengers, plus Carmen, were spread throughout Clint Barton's kitchen, listening to Fury as he spoke. They had to break everything down to get to the bottom of Ultron's plan, "Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something." The man told them.
Carmen watched as one of Clint's kids ran up and handed Natasha a drawing of a butterfly, she smiled lightly at the sight, before letting it fade as she continued listening to Fury.
"The amount of vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing." He suspected, "What about Ultron himself?" Steve questioned.
"Oh, he's easy to track, he's everywhere." Fury responded, "The guy is multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit." The man said, Carmen scrunching her nose up at the comparison. "It still doesn't help us get an angle on any of his plans, though."
"So, we're going in blind? We have no idea what he's up to?" Carmen asked, this was her first mission, she wanted to be prepared, but she didn't see much they could do with the little information they had. Fury only gave her a shrug, as Stark asked, "Well, is he still going after launch codes?"
"Yes, he is. But, he's not making any headway." Fury responded. Tony paused his single player game of darts to say, "I cracked the Pentagon's firewall in high school on a dare."
"Well, I contacted our friends at the Nexus about that." Fury told him, "Nexus?" Steve asked, which Carmen was glad he did, because she didn't know what that was either.
"It's the world internet hub in Oslo. Every byte of data flows through there. Fastest access on Earth." Bruce informed.
"So, what did they say?" Barton wondered, playing with a dart. "He's fixated on the missiles." Fury said, confusing the group.
"So, why hasn't he got them yet? Isn't he like an AI?" Carmen questioned, Fury nodded to her, "Yes, but the codes are constantly being changed."
"By whom?" Tony asked, before he had to quickly move his head away from the dart board, as Clint sent two darts flying, immediately hitting a double bullseye; which Tony hadn't got yet, the man sent him a glare.
"Parties unknown." Fury said, earning more questions from the group. "Do we have an ally?" Natasha asked, but Fury shook his head, "Ultron's got an enemy." He corrected, "That's not the same thing, Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is."
"I might need to visit Oslo. Find our unknown." Tony declared.
"Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that." Natasha nagged, to which Fury gave an offended look.
