Promise me

My heart started aching, seeing how scared and worried he looked. I couldn't hold back the tears as it literally broke me.

I wanted to explain how I thought there was no way anyone could have been on this platform in the middle of Han's river nor should they have known we were here but I couldn't speak due to how hard the tears were crashing down.

He didn't speak, he just held me tight as he also started to cry lightly. I gripped onto his shirt while my tears left visible water marks on his clothing.

What felt like forever but was only a couple of minutes, we both finally calmed down enough to speak. I took a deep breath in as I sat on the ground leaning against the huge cargo bin. Minho did the same and I laced my arm through his, grabbing a hold of his hand and intertwining our fingers.

I rested my head on his shoulder and he laid his head against mine. "I'm so sorry Minho." I finally broke the silence. "I just thought sinc-"

"I know baby I know." He cut me short as if he already knew what I was going to say. "You have to promise me." He lifted his head and grabbed my chin with his other hand to make me face him. "Promise me you won't ever go off on your own again."

I nodded my head.

"Say it." He had so much authority in his voice.

"I promise." I said firmly.

He leaned in placing his lips on mine like he did earlier with the same amount of hunger and desire. I craved every bit of him. I opened my mouth just a tad allowing him to have access to which he took full advantage of.

Our kiss started to get heated as our tongues danced with each other and our heads repositioning every so often but not breaking contact.

We pulled back breathing heavily and I laid my head back on his shoulder. "I never want to make you feel like this ever again. I'm so sorry."

He brought my hand up to his lips and lightly kissed my swollen and banged up knuckles. "Thank you for fighting."

We sat there for another good 7 minutes before Chris came back over kneeling next to me. He grabbed a hold of my other hand to look at my knuckles. He frowned his eyebrows and I noticed his jaw clenching.

"누나, (Noona). Can you tell me what happened?" He exhaled slowly trying to let his anger pass.

If both boys weren't holding my hands I would probably be biting my nails right now. I was afraid to tell them about the barrel especially Minho but I knew I would have to eventually.

I gripped Minhos hand tighter as I started to explain everything that happened from the music playing to the barrel almost knocking me in the water, up to the moment I ran into Minho. I gave as much detailed as possible trying my best to not leave anything out.

I nervously looked at Minho to see how he was handling all the information I just told them and let's just say I don't think he was handling it well at all.

He started to shake with anger, his hands were sweating as I felt his body temperature rise. I knew he was seeing red again when I saw his other hand clenching so tight his knuckles were turning a solid shade of white.

"Baby, look at me." I pulled my hand out of Chris's to grab Minhos face and turn it towards me. "I'm here with you. No body can keep me from always ending up at your side ok? I'll always fight to stay right here."

A single tear left his eye as I spoke. I gave him a small yet reassuring smile and he brought my hand up, kissing my knuckles once more.

"Thank you." He whispered.

I turned back towards Chris when he stood up. "Well I think we can call it a day." He looked down at me. "You know I have to tell JYP."

"I'd rather you than me." I said rolling my eyes. Minho stood up helping me to my feet.

"I'll go talk to everyone. Tell them about the situation." Chris said putting his hands in his pockets.

"I'm sorry. I ruined yet another big day for you guys." I felt defeated. For the past week I have done nothing but cause trouble for them.

Minho placed his arm over my shoulders as we walked back following Chris. "Babygirl." I looked at him with saddening eyes. "I'll go to deepest depths of the ocean and fight the world's deadliest creature if that means I can keep you by my side." He gave me a reassuring smile. "I'm just happy to still have you next me."

His words were truly warming my heart and I felt myself smiling back at him. I wrapped my arm around his back, squeezing him tight in a side hug.

As Chris explained to everyone about the situation, Minho cleaned and wrapped my hands for me before we all climbed back onto the yacht that took us back to the vehicles.

Since it wasn't even 3pm yet, we got dropped off at the studio. "More practice time." Chris said and everyone just sorta groaned under their breaths.

"Orrrrr. Movie day at the dorms!" Felix suggested and everyone seemed to have liked that idea better. "That includes you as well 누나. (Noona)" Felix said grabbing my arm and making me giggle.

"Alright alright. Sounds good to me. I could use a nap after this morning."

Everyone made sure to cover up from head to toe before setting out to the dorms. It was a short walk nonetheless.

I was trapped in the middle of all 8 boys as they have become my very own personal bodyguards on this walk. Minho walked the closest to me, making sure I didn't go any more than 2 feet from him.

When we got back to the dorms Felix and Seungmin started scrolling through the tv in the living room to find a movie. Minho and I decided to make snacks for everyone while the rest set up a big fort.

Minho passed out the snacks as everyone got seated comfortably on the pile of blankets. The boys played some romantic comedy that I never heard of.

"Sit here 누나! (Noona)" Felix grabbed my arm and I grabbed Minho. As the movie was already playing I snuggled up to Minho with his arm wrapped around me.

I looked up at him and happiness instantly filled my soul. I assumed he felt my stare and I watched as a smile curled up on his lips. He pulled me in closer, laying a light kiss on my forehead.

I looked around watching all the boys laugh and joke with each other. I never could have imagine that this is where I would be almost 2 years later after joining JYPE.

"Babygirl." He whispered.

"Hmm?"

I turned my attention back to him as I felt him moving. I watched as he pulled out a little white box out of his pocket. "Babygirl." He opened the box revealing a cute little star ring.

"This is me asking you to promise me. Promise me you will never leave my side."
