Anna, David, John, Mary, and Peter were friends who lived in Honiara, the capital city of Solomon Islands. They had grown up together on the island of Guadalcanal, and had moved to the city for work and education. They shared a small apartment near the central market, where they often bought fresh fruits and vegetables.

One day, they heard a strange news report on the radio. It said that a mysterious virus had broken out in Papua New Guinea, and that people who were infected had become violent and aggressive, attacking and biting others. The report said that the virus was spreading rapidly, and that the authorities were trying to contain it. The report also warned people to stay indoors and avoid contact with anyone who showed signs of infection.

The friends were shocked and scared by the news, but they tried to remain calm and rational. They decided to stock up on some food and water, and to lock their doors and windows. They hoped that the virus would not reach Solomon Islands, and that the situation would soon be under control.

However, their hopes were shattered the next day, when they saw a crowd of people running and screaming outside their apartment. They looked out the window, and saw a horde of zombies chasing the people. The zombies were covered in blood and wounds, and had a crazed look in their eyes. They were biting and tearing at anyone they could catch, and spreading the infection.

The friends realized that the virus had somehow reached Honiara, and that the city was in chaos. They quickly grabbed their backpacks, and ran out of the apartment. They managed to avoid the zombies, and headed to the nearest harbor. They hoped to find a boat that could take them to another island, where they might be safe.

They reached the harbor, and saw a small ferry that was about to depart. They ran towards it, and saw that it was heading to Buka Island, the second-largest island in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. They had heard that Buka Island was relatively isolated and peaceful, and that it had a strong local government and culture. They thought that it might be a good place to escape the zombie outbreak.

They boarded the ferry, and paid the fare with the little money they had. They found some seats, and sat down. They looked around, and saw that there were other passengers who had the same idea as them. They also saw some soldiers and police officers, who were armed and ready to defend the ferry in case of an attack.

The ferry left the harbor, and sailed towards Buka Island. The friends felt a mix of relief and fear, as they watched Honiara fade away in the distance. They wondered what would happen to their home, their families, and their country. They also wondered what awaited them on Buka Island, and whether they would survive the zombie apocalypse.
