The Titans were scouring the city to find any trace of Robin. They were separated, all using their comms to communicate. Star continued to try and get a hold of him. "Robin? Please Robin, where are you?" "Starfire, enough. You've been calling him all day," Raven intervened. "Perhaps if I just try one more-" "Come on, Star. If he's gonna pick up, he'd have done it by now. Besides, you're kind of giving me a headache," Beastboy threw, slightly annoyed. "But why does he not respond? Where could he be?"

Cyborg was down in the sewers, down where they last seen Robin. "Robin and Cinderblock definitely went a few rounds, but I can't tell who won, or where they went."

Raven was in the Tower, checking the city scanners. The three other's locations were flashing clear. "No sign of him here, either  His locator is still offline. I've been monitoring all of the frequencies, but he hasn't checked in."

"Oh, we are bad friends! We never should have left Robin to do battle alone!" Star was flying over the city. Beastboy was tackling ground patrol. "Yeah, especially since Slade's big doodad was a dud," he chimed in.

"The Khronoton Detonator wasn't a dud. It was a decoy to lure us away from Robin, and we fell for it," Raven said, partly venting. Cyborg lashed out, punching the wall. "I should have known that thing was a fake!"

"But why? Why did Slade wish to separate us from Robin," Star inquired. "And if the detonator was a decoy," Beastboy started to ask, "what was Slade's real plan," Raven finished, pondering it herself.

The crime alert rang, diverting their attention. Cyborg immediately took charge to substitute. "Titans, trouble!"

They raced to the scene of the crime. It was a well guarded facility; difficult to break into. Upon arrival, they found a shadowy figure trying to make an escape. "Freeze!" Cyborg shouted at it, only for it to make a dash over a bridge connected two buildings, one of which they were on. They chased it down, and it led straight to a dead end for the figure. It turned, and the lighting revealed who the figure was.

Robin. He was donning a uniform which closely resembled Slade's. He glared at the four Titans. "Woah," Cyborg breathed in shock and betrayal. "No way," Beastboy couldn't find any other words to describe the sight. "Robin! Why are you..." Starfire tried to fathom a reason, but while trying to form her thoughts,  Robin threw a disk at her, which exploded a mere two feet away from her. The blast knocked her back, and onto the floor at Cyborg's feet.

"Yo!" Cyborg exclaimed defensively. "What's your deal?" Beastboy remarked. Star rose to her feet, and Robin just stood there, staring at them, gritting his teeth. They charged at him, to which he blasted the bridge with the laser gun he just stole.

Beastboy screamed as they backed away from the explosion. "What are you doing?!" Cyborg was perplexed and getting agitated by the lack of answers.

There was a thick smoke from the raging fire, only allowing the Titans to see Robin's silhouette slowly fade into the night. Star mumbled, "Robin..."
