Sonne slumbered soundly in the warm sunbeams that streamed through the forest glade. His face was adorned with a striking horn and vibrant red ears, which only added to his regal appearance. Mond emerged from the den and called out to her guards. She was a graceful creature, with each movement fluid and deliberate. Her voice was melodious and sweet as she shouted for them to gather around her. With a gentle nudge, Mond awakened Sonne, who stretched languidly before standing up and following his mother into the den. The two dragons disappeared within, leaving behind a trail of golden light and the soft rustle of leaves disturbed by their passage. Sonne looked around his mother's den in confusion and disbelief. He had always been a cherished member of their family, but now his mother was ordering the guards to take him away. "Take him to the market in the forest," she commanded, her voice cold and unyielding. "I don't want him anymore." She continued then frowned at Sonne. Sonne couldn't believe what he was hearing. Why would his own mother reject him so callously? He had always been a good dragon, obedient and loyal, and yet here he was, being banished from the only home he had ever known. Tears streamed down his face as one of the guards, a burly man with rough hands, picked him up and carried him out of the den. Sonne struggled and kicked, determined to escape this fate, but it was no use. The guard held him tight, his grip like a vice around Sonne's tiny body. As they made their way through the forest, Sonne could see the other creatures staring at him, their eyes filled with pity and fear. He knew that he was being rejected by his own kind, cast out into the world alone and vulnerable. But Sonne refused to give up hope. He clung to the belief that there must be a reason for this cruel turn of events, and that somewhere out there, there was a place where he belonged. And so he cried and kicked, determined to find his way back home, no matter what it took.
