Astral Prohibitions: no trust, no love... just blood

Chapter 2

Sonne peered out from the confines of the small wooden box he had been placed in. His piercing gaze landed upon a strange, green dragon with Tags hanging from his ears and a smear of blood on his left flank. The other dragon, Tierkreis, regarded him with equal curiosity. "Who are you?" Sonne asked nervously, his deep voice echoing within the cramped space. Tierkreis chuckled, a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through the air. "Me? Oh, I'm just a humble Tierkreis," he replied, his voice tinged with amusement. Sonne frowned, unsure of what to make of this enigmatic creature. He noticed that Tierkreis had a peculiar symbol etched into the skin above his left eyebrow, and there were strange markings scattered across his scales. "And who might you be?" Tierkreis prompted, tilting his head to one side as if studying Sonne intently. Sonne hesitated for a moment before answering, his heart pounding in his chest. "My name is Sonne," he said quietly, his eyes locked onto Tierkreis's own. "What brings us together in this...box?" Sonne asked. "So, basically you just got banned from your home too?" Sonne asked, his voice filled with empathy. He couldn't imagine what kind of circumstances would lead a dragon to leave its own child behind. Tierkreis nodded, his fur gleaming in the dim light. "Yes, my parents were killed in a battle with a rival clan," he explained, his deep voice tinged with sadness. "I was just a hatchling at the time, so I don't remember much about it." He said. Sonne felt a pang of sorrow in his heart, knowing that Tierkreis had experienced such loss at such a young age. But he also knew that he was strong and resilient, and that he had managed to survive against all odds. And now, they were together, bound by their shared experiences and their determination to make the best of their situation. "We will stay together forever," Tierkreis said, his talons wrapping around Sonne's wings in a comforting gesture. "We will find a way out of here, and we will build our own home, together." He promised. Sonne smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she and Tierkreis would face them side by side, as friends and companions. And maybe, just maybe, they would find a way to escape this strange prison and start a new life, free from the burdens of their past.
