Gary walked into his office, closing the door behind himself.

"You know, there are such things of appointments" Charlotte looked towards Gary with a small smile, "i know what an appointment is, but this is urgent and needs to be seen right away". Gary sits down in front of her and sighs. "So tell me, what bother have you gotten your self into this time?" Smiling Charlotte leans back in her chair, " haven't you read the case Gary?" Gary looked down at the case in front of him. "I have read it" smiling Gary carried on "I want to hear what's happened from you not of some paper"
Charlotte looked at Gary with a small smile " let's get one thing straight, I haven't caused this, I haven't gotten myself in bother someone's trying to cause me bother." Gary rolled his eyes "well whatever it is this your bother that I have to now put straight, I want to know when and how it all started, do not dare leave anything out, I'm not going to look like a fool when this is brought to court." Charlotte gave him a questioning look "court?" Was the only thing she could get out of her mouth. "Yes court, this won't go away nicely, the only way we win this is in front of a judge." Charlotte sank further into her seat, taking a deep breath before explaining how this all started.

Two hours later Charlotte left Gary's office, Gary put his head in his hands. There was just something about Charlotte that got under his skin and he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Removing him from his thoughts Rose came into his office "your 3pm has cancelled and your mums been on the phone" Gary looked up from his hands and frowned "my mum?" Rose just smiled "yes your mum,  she's worried about you, said something about you not calling her with an update on how your getting on, you should ring her she's worried." Gary opened his mouth then closed it again "I'll call her when I have a minute" wiping his hands over his head "right okay" she's watched him carefully before carrying on, " seen as your 3pm cancelled you have the whole evening, want me to file them for you?" Pointing towards the pile of files on the right hand corner of his desk "no" shaking his head he began to stand up "no...take the evening off your free to go home," smiling softly he grabbed his laptop from his bag "are you sure? I don't mind staying to help you file these?" He shook his head again "no go..I'm good here, go home" he sat at his desk "thank you Gary, see you in the morning?" Rose said walking towards the door "yes see you tomorrow" Gary replied burying his head in his laptop. Rose left, leaving Gary alone with his pile of files.

A few hours later Gary decided that he better crack on with the files on his desk. He took his suit jacket off and made his way to the file room, "your new" Gary spun on his heels towards the voice "i am" he frowned towards the short blond woman, she smiles "I'm Isabel...Isabel Lowry" he placed his hand in front of hers "Gary...Gary Barlow" she shook his name and smiles "I know who you are, the hot shot lawyer from Manchester" he smiles back at her lowering his hand "so that's what they are calling me? I walked Into the coffee room earlier and they receptionist shut up when I walked in" she let a small giggle out "yeah just ignore them, they like to gossip" smiling he nodded "I'll take that into consideration." Gary turned back to the pile on the desk and sat at it, "so why are you here so late?" He asked her as she made her way in front of him, "had a client that needs to see me tomorrow, need to look over the case before morning, why are you still here ain't your secretary supposed to do that for you?," she sighed sitting in front of him "she was but she's done enough for me including dealing with my mum,so I let her go home early, left these to bloody late and if I tell myself I'll do them in the morning they will never get done," laughing she opened her folder, he strangely liked her laugh. "Mind if I keep you company and work here?" Shaking his head "no go for it" smiling he went back to his files. Finally he could speak to someone without them trying to flirt with him or talk business.
He liked Isabel she was down to earth, and even though he only knew he for like 5 minutes he felt comfortable around her.
