"Mamaaa, Up! Up ..."

With a spoiled demeanor like a prince, Jisung asked his mother to lift him as the three of them descended from the car in the vicinity of their home.

At first, Mingi patiently reminded Jisung that he had grown up, already in elementary school that year. Why did he still want to be carried inside the house? Quite spoiled.

But the chubby cheeks of his eldest son, so adorable, softened his resolve. So, in the end, he gave in to what his son wanted.

And seeing this, the younger one didn't want to be left out.

"Mama, Taeyoung too! Taeyoung too!"

The even more adorable kindergarten kid made it even harder for Mingi to refuse.

In the end, the mother of two lifted the tiny bodies of his two sons and carried them on his chest, walking until they reached the entrance and struggled to open the door before the three of them arrived in the living room.

"I'm home."

He could see Leedo standing there, five meters in front of him. It seemed like a welcome, but not quite. Just throwing a cold stare, the man didn't respond to his greeting at all.

Mingi, who could already read the situation, quickly put down his two sons.

"You guys go ahead and put off your clothes. Mom will join you in a bit, okay?" He asked his children to go to the bathroom first before he bathed them.

"Where were you? Why did you only return this late?" Leedo folded his arms, his eyes glaring intimidatingly across the room.

"As you can see, I just got back at night. I was tired. Couldn't you welcome me worse than this?" Mingi answered sarcastically in a flat tone with his arrogant smile.

"Don't answer a question with a question."

"Leedo, I think we need to talk."

"I should be the one saying that."

"No, no. I'm serious. I had something crucial here that concerned life and death."

Leedo's forehead wrinkled, displaying the mature lines that were becoming more pronounced.

Life and death? Was it really that important?

With that, he conceded.

"Fine. Say it."

He waited for a few seconds of pause that Mingi created before, with a bit of hesitation, he said, "When was the last time I forgot to take my contraceptive pills?"

Wrinkles on Leedo's forehead multiplied.

"Was there something wrong with that?"

"Don't answer a question with a question." Mingi threw back the weapon. Leedo briefly thought that Mingi really wasn't creative enough to paraphrase, scratch, copying his entire sentence.

"I don't remember. It's not my concern. So what?"

Mingi's hand clenched tightly, holding back the bad emotions that Leedo's cold tone provoked.

"Not your concern, you say? So, if our relationship results in a child, you would still say it's not your concern?"

"What are you really trying to say?"
