A continuation of Another Allan and Getting to Know Each Other.
Allan and his Allan duplicate sat down on the couch at original Allan's house one day to watch the news, expecting it to mostly be about the Barbies and the Kens.
Except it wasn't.
Both Allans found it quite strange watching news about themselves, which was about sales of Allans in the real world and how they were now flying off the shelves.
"After the crash in sales of Kens, many parents are picking up a new doll for their kids this holiday season," the narrator said. "They're buying Allans."
"We're a hit," new Allan said, astonished.
"I am going to have so many more friends that get it," original Allan said. He looked around the living room as the people on the screen talked about how Allans were being seen as a more neutral option after the controversy of the Kens, which had been experiencing a sharp decline in sales.
"What happens to the Kens now?" new Allan asked.
"I don't know," original Allan said, getting up and looking out the window. All along the beach, Allans were appearing, seemingly out of thin air. "But we're everywhere."

As it turned out, there weren't too many new Allans arriving in BarbieLand. Just twenty more of them. Which is still kind of a lot, but it wasn't as though BarbieLand had been overwhelmed by them.
So, of course, original Allan invited them all over to his house for a party.
Midge was at the party, but there was still only one of her, so she was feeling a little overwhelmed at how many duplicates of her husband had just shown up in BarbieLand.
"Why couldn't they have made any more of me?" she asked the original Allan.
"You'll have to take that up with Mattel," he said. "Because we're sold separately."
And so started Midge's letter writing campaign to Mattel, trying to convince them to make more of her.
It didn't work.
Defeated, Midge went down to the beach one day with original Allan, all of the new Allans trailing behind them.
"I'm sure someday you'll get another Midge," Allan said.
And then, just after he said this, another Midge appeared on the beach.
With another Midge to keep her company, the two Midges and the twenty-two Allans headed back.
They celebrated with another party, because that was how everything seemed to be celebrated in BarbieLand, and then they all sat down and watched the news from the Real World, celebrating their commercial success and new-found friendship.
Allan did find that it wasn't all that much better with so many Allans than it was with only one other Allan, but he was still so thankful to have them all there. So happy that none of them were alone.
