Imani couldn't stop thinking about the kiss she received on her cheek from Badu.
The whole night she just looked out her window waiting for morning to see him again.
" Imani my child," Adasa called out as Imani was in the first world in a dungeon will Adasa hiding in the shadows.
" You are the first Spectre who has been able to hear me and project here while you dream," Adasa whispered.
" Why are you here trapped? " Imani asked.
" Cause I grew powerful the people of that time would rather have me locked up for all eternity cause they were scared of me.
Now they will turn on you once they discover you are growing just as strong as me and they will want to do the same to you. " Adasa tells Imani who didn't believe that.
" My grandmother and my family would never do that to me. " Imani tells her as she laughs in the shadows.
" When you show your power then they will turn. " Adasa says as Imani could feel it was almost morning.
" I don't know how am supposed to help you. " Imani says.
" He reveals himself and you have to trust him and help him free me 'cause this is no life. I want to see all of you my children and the world. " Adasa tells Imani who felt sad.
" I will get you out of here, " Imani tells her.
As the morning and the sun began rising.
" Go wake up your sister. " Amara says to Junior as he goes to bed and doesn't find his sister in bed.
" She's not here. " Junior says as Amara is surprised but then smells something wonderful and they go to the kitchen.
" Honey didn't know you were cooking? " Amara says thinking it's Darius cooking but finds Darius and Treyvon seated having breakfast as Imani had cooked up a feast.
" Wow ! " Junior says running to get some.
" This is incredible," Amara says having breakfast and sitting down at the dinner table.
" I just love you all and I wanted to appreciate you," Imani tells her family serving her mother some breakfast.
" Honey we should hurry before the heavy rain begins. " Darius tells Amara as Imani closes her eyes and a breeze came into the room.
" All fixed. " Imani says.
" Imani you can't go around changing weather patterns it's against the rules. " Amara tells her daughter.
" I am the living embodiment of nature, now hurry with your breakfast, " Imani says as her family was happy to see her that way.
" You see that Darius? " Amara asked.
" What? " Darius answered as he was stuffing his face with his delicious breakfast.
" Our Imani is in love. " Amara tells him as he is surprised cause Elijah moved away.
" Must be a new boy from school, " Amara says with a smile watching her daughter in the kitchen.
Later that day, Imani walks into school and was met by Badu.
" What's the plan today ? " he asks.
" I've got classes that's why am here. " Imani says laughing carrying her books.
" Oh let's ditch, " he says to her.
" Let's go, " He says taking her hand as they left the school compound as George could see them from his office window with a smile on his face.
" Where are we going? " Imani asks.
" We are going on adventures into the city to show you how to have fun and let loose with your powers. " Badu tells Imani.
George on his computer was speaking with members of the Wabasi clan.
" Badu is in and with his powers of corruption he will slowly turn her dark and she will belong to us. " George laughs.
" You can have anything you want, that's why we have these powers. " Badu says to Imani.
" I've got rules to follow mister, these powers have been passed down for generations. I don't think anyone has used them for their benefit. You should see our house in the village looks like it's falling apart. " Imani says as Badu laughs as the corruption had begun.
" Let's go on a shopping spree, a free shopping spree. " Badu takes her hand and they go into the store and they come out with everything they want and no one is stopping them or daring to.
" You can have everything you want, I will give you Nairobi. " Badu says with his eyes all dark and Imani's turned dark as well.
" This is going to be fun. " Imani says with a grin on her face.
