when she woke up the next morning, she didn't think of the fact that she would have to deal with any of this but she knew that when she got home, natasha would kill her for it. however she decided that going home would not the be smartest idea and she needed to go with clint, at least if she was with clint she would be safe and sound.
they walked Kate to her mom's work and willow watched everything around them. she hated Christmas, Halloween was her favorite. her girlfriend died on Christmas two years ago in her universe and she couldn't do anything about it.
"willow you should go home" clint told her and she shook her head
"no, no way. I'm coming with you" she told him and he stared at her. he knew that she wasn't going to back down no matter what. they walked to the park together and willow stuck close to clint. they got to the larpers convention and walked up
"Hi" clint said and they found the guy in the ronan costume
"there's no looky-llos" a girl told them
"I'm not trying to cause any trouble here. i just wanna talk to that ninja, right there? he stole that suit. so id like to talk to him" clint said
"well you can take that up with him when the LARP is over" she suggested and clint looked around
"the live action role play. this, you know, this whole thing" she stated and willow looked around the same way clint did.
"when is it over?" clint asked
"midnight" she said and willow huffed
"yeah that's not gonna work. its just gonna take a couple seconds" he tried and she stopped him yet again
"hey. look, i know wo you are but most of those folks out there are firefighters and cops and if you break the rules, its gonna get real messy" she stated
"what are the rules?" he asked and they walked up to the table as they signed their names and the women handed them scrolls
"so, your scroll details your characters mission. beginners only get one free hit. if you get hit in the torso, its fatal. just watch what other people are doing and have fun" she told them
"what do you do with this?" clint asked
"that's what you live by" she stated and willow nodded her head. they began to walk away but got stopped by the women
