3rd person pov
she looked at kate and clint as they sat on the subway and kate turned to her
"we have to walk the dog" kate told her and willow nodded
"you're right" clint said and willow smiled before she remembered that he didn't have his hearing aid in so he couldn't really hear them
" he's been cooped up all day. not quite sure how long a dog can--" kate said and clint interrupted her
"call yourself one of the worlds greatest archers" he said and willow looked at kate who had wide eyes and a smile on her face
"oh, my god. do you really think so? i wont lie i wasn't sure what to do" she said and he interrupted yet again
"probably should walk the dog. don't you think?" he asked and willow laughed at his words and kate smiled
"he can't hear us" willow reminded her girl and kate smiled as they got to their stop and they went to kates aunts apartment. clint turned to willow who looked at him
"shouldn't you be home?" he asked her and she signed to him as she held the phone up and shows him who it was.
"hey, listen. i can't really talk right now. do you have time to text? can you text?" he asked her and willow shook her head as she signed nathan to him and he nodded.
"Nathaniel, what are you doing buddy? is everything okay? wheres mama?" he asked him and willow kept signing to her father as he nodded and kept up with her.
"youre bored. youre the early bird,. hey bud, i miss you. why don't you gp get some breakfast, read a book or something until mama wakes up" clint suggested and kate walked over as she watched willow help clint and she smiled
"yeah, its tonight is move marathon night, that's right. i really wish i could be there with you buddy, you know how much i love that but I'm not gonna make it, but i think ill be back in the next day or so. we'll be in time for ugly Christmas sweater party, are you ready for that?" clint asked and willow sighed as she signed the next thing and looked at him sadly
"I'm gonna be there buddy, you know I'm gonna be there like i said, right? I'm so happy to hear your voice, daddys gotta go. i love you" he said and he ended the call as he looked at willow sadly
"thank you" he told her and she nodded as kate walked to the living room and willow followed after her until she realised that clint needed a new ear piece and they knew where they had to go
