"No, no, no! Rayla!" Callum stood at the edge of the Storm Spire. On the pinnacle. Alone. She jumped. She really jumped. He set his sketchbook down. He backed up a few steps, then ran to the edge. He jumped after her. "Manus, Pluma, Volantis! Oh, come on. Please work! Please work! Manus, Pluma, Volantis! Rayla... no... I love you." Tears filled his eyes as her body struck the ground. His vision went dark as his, finally, did too.

As he opened his eyes, he noticed the room he was in was uncomfortably bright. As his vision adjusted, he noticed it looked as if it were all made of clouds. Is this... a dream? He sat up. Walking outside he was greeted with a familiar face. "King Harrow?" Callum asked. "Please, please. Here, you may call me father. Or dad. Dad sounds right." Callum was shocked to see him.

"Where am I?" he asked, tentatively. "Welcome to Askerius. The land of the dead-" "I'M DEAD?" "Er... yes. It must be a lot to take in so how about you-" "Where's Rayla?" Harrow was taken aback by his interruption. "Who? Ohh... right. Rayla. She is just beyond those gates," he said, gesturing to two large gates. Callum sprinted toward them.

"Woah, woah. Slow down there. New souls, especially when they haven't woken up yet, are incredibly fragile. You must promise not to touch her." Callum nodded. Anything to see her safe. They walked, slowly to the gates. Callum opened them. It surprised him how light they were. As they walked through the elven side of Askerius, Callum saw elves that seemed familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it. They were all sunfire elves. Fallen soldiers. Taken by the battle.

As they approached the house Harrow said Rayla was in, Callum had to take a deep breath. He didn't know what he may see. As he flung open the door, he saw her, laying still. Peaceful. Beautiful. He sat down next to her. "Rayla..." He whispered. She looked exactly the same as she did, you know, alive, but different. Callum didn't know what was different though.

She began to stir. Callum sat up straight. She opened her eyes, immediately seeing Callum beside her. She gave him a tight hug. She let the happy tears roll down her cheeks. She was so happy to see that he was safe. So, so happy.

A/N: Hey, listen. I promised Rayllum. I never said they had to be alive. You can love someone when you're dead. Oh, and you guys are going to get some of our favorite queen, at least my favorite.
