Third-person POV

Social media and various television networks continued to exploit Scarlett Johansson's interview on Jimmy Fallon's show, along with the surprising appearance of her firstborn, Yn. While Ava was overwhelmed by the tumult of eager followers seeking answers on the accounts she shared with Yn, the latter was at home, contemplating her new starry sky, a gift courtesy of Cosmo. Yn's hands were sweating like never before in anticipation of what she had to do. She took a deep breath, sighed, trying to gather courage, and finally stood up; her eyes showed the trace of sleepless nights since her return.

Rose would fly to France the next day, adding urgency to her plan if she wanted it to be successful. A few steps outside her bedroom, her mother's voice made her stop. Although Scarlett was still downstairs, Yn felt tempted to return to the safety of her room. With her stomach clenched like a fist, she entered her mother's room and rummaged through the closets until she found the bag Scarlett used to carry frequently. Yn's hands trembled as she opened it and discovered the wallet. Her eyes widened in amazement as she came across a stack of bills.

She rarely saw her mother with cash, as she usually paid with a credit card. But now, Yn couldn't use cards, and airlines didn't allow her to purchase a ticket online. She took an amount without even checking how much it was and left everything as she remembered before darting towards her room, her heart pounding in her throat. Hearing footsteps on the stairs, she hid the stack of bills under the pillow and audibly swallowed when she opened the door.

POV SCARLETT

I granted my little princess Rose the choice of how to spend the day since she would be flying tomorrow to spend the week with her father in France. Rose wanted to revisit a Disney classic like Beauty and the Beast; it would be a movie night with popcorn and some treats. Colin took care of getting them while I stayed with the kids. Yn remained in her bedroom, and a growing unease took hold of me, so I called to order pizza and decided to go get her.

"Mom, is Yn not coming?" Rose asked.

"I'll go get her, sweetheart. She might be asleep, and at this hour, it's better to wake her up, or she won't sleep tonight," I kissed Rose's forehead, noticing that now my little one also wanted to spend as much time as possible with her older sister.

I climbed the stairs and headed to Yn's room. I knocked on the door, and getting no response, I opened it to find her sitting with wide-open eyes, looking like a deer caught in headlights.

"Are you okay, little bean?"

"Uh... yeah," she articulated, and I raised an eyebrow, taking a step further into her room, her gaze following mine.

"Yn, is something wrong?"

My daughter cleared her throat and stood up, smiling. "No, mom. What could be wrong? Did you come for something?"

I watched her for a moment, seeing her becoming more at ease, so I nodded. "As soon as Colin comes, we'll start the movie and have pizza; are you coming down?"

Yn nodded repeatedly, and I sensed her restlessness, so I approached her, noticing her slight tremor. I pressed my lips to her forehead. "You're warm, baby. Put on your pajamas, and after dinner, I'll give you some syrup."

I saw her bright green eyes and tears welling up, so I hugged her to comfort her. "My little bean, you'll feel better soon. Listen to mom, okay? Put on your pajamas and come down."

"Yes, mom."

I kissed her forehead again and gave her a smile before closing the door, giving her privacy to change. Once downstairs, Rose was eagerly waiting for an update.
