"Mama?" She says into the phone overjoyed to hear her mother's voice. "My love, how are you?" Jaaliyah questions her only daughter in response. "I'm well and you?" Ettinnette says as she fixes her hair in the mirror. "I'm fine my baby." Jaaliyah says smiling at her daughter through the phone.
"Should I come over to help you set up?" Ettinnette asks as she swipes lip gloss over her lips. "Honey we might not do thanksgiving this year." Jaaliyah says and Ettinnette's face instantly contorts confused. "What do you mean" Ettinnette says confused.
"Your dad might not be feeling up to it" Jaaliyah says and Ettinnette's eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Is he okay?" Ettinnette asks concerned. "Yes. He's just been a little tired lately" Jaaliyah says sitting down. "Are you sure I shouldn't come over?" Nette asks as someone knocks on her door. "That's okay baby" Jaaliyah says worrying Ettinnette even more as Malik walks in her room with the target bags.
"You're worrying me mommy" She says and Jordan darts his eyes over to her. "Cheri mwen pwomèt li anfòm. Mwen dwe ale kounye a men mwen pwomèt mwen pral fè papa ou rele ou tounen" Jaaliyah says as her sweet but tired voice pours into her daughters ears. "Oke mwen renmen ou manman." Ettinnette says sighing. "mwen renmen ou tou bebe mwen" Jaaliyah says quickly hanging up the phone.

I have to go now but I promise I will make your father call you back" Lauryn says as her sweet but tired voice pours into her daughters ears. "Okay I love you mom." Ettinnette said, sighing.
