CHAPTER 3 THE DAY I WAS 14

I was playing with Sergio in a park while our parents watched us, Sergio said he had to go to the bathroom so my dad went with him while mom was looking after me.

"Mom I'm going to play some more in the woods" I yelled towards her and she gave me a nod, so I wandered into the forest and I didn't notice how far I was going until I noticed something glowing behind me and the next thing I know I'm being sucked into something.

When I hit the ground I could feel my head pounding but when I got a better look at my surroundings I noticed I wasn't in the same woods as I was wondering around in, because first of all it was night and when I was wondering in the woods it was broad daylight.

"Hello" a voice said and I immediately jumped to my feet.

"Who are you? Where are you?" I was talking to the person who I didn't even know.

"Don't be afraid I honestly didn't think you could hear me" the voice replied to me.

"If I tell you my name will you tell me yours?" I asked the voice and I saw a figure looking at me, it was a girl who looked around 12 but she was transparent and she was standing next to a big pine tree.

I walked closer to the tree and I got a better look at the girl and she had shoulder length hair that was all spiky and had some type of blue eyes.

"I like your eyes" I told her and she gave me a smile.

"Thanks I like yours, there pitch black right?" She asked and I only gave her a shrug.

"Well my name is stellar carter, and yours is?" I looked at the girl and she gave me a smirk.

"I'm Thalia grace" I smiled at her when she told me her name.

"So I can see that you are not from here, I saw you fall from that portal" she told me and I started to get concerned.

"Yeah and I don't think this is my New York" I sat down on the pine tree hugging my knees, Thalia sat next to me.

"It's going to be ok, I can tell your special even if your not like me" she said and I gave her a confused look.

"What do you mean by I'm not like you?" I asked her and she gave me that smirk again.

"Your the only person who can see me" she told me and I couldn't believe what I was hearing, that was until she stood up and started to tell me something.

"Tell you what you see that barn over there" she was pointing to some barn that looked abandoned but I just nodded.

"Good I want you too go into that barn and when you get out you will see a gate that says camp half-blood, you should be able to find people there" Thalia was talking as I was still looking over to the barn I was about to ask her something when I heard a roar.

"You need to go now!" Thalia said as I scrambled to my feet.

I started running towards the barn like she told me but I heard the roar come closer to me, so I did the only thing I knew I could do.

"HELP!" Yep I screamed for help, I'm in the middle of nowhere and some monster was chasing me so who was going to help me?

I heard the roses coming closer and so did stomping, I tried to run faster but I was too tired and I knew that the monster was getting closer to me.

"HELP PLEASE!" I tried again, I felt something grab me and lifted me up into the air, when I turned my head I screamed because I saw a monster that looked like a bull.

Just as I shut my eyes closed waiting for death I didn't feel it coming instead I heard the monster groan and fall to the floor with me still in its hand.
