CHAPTER 5 SPIDER-GANG

After I went into the portal it felt like I was flying and not the hood kind, and the next thing I know I felt the ground collide with my face which hurt like a bitch by the way, so there I am laying on a cold floor holding my face in pain.

"You ok?" I heard Jess ask me to which I gave her one of my glares.

"Do I look ok? My face just met the fucking ground!" I yelled at her, she held out her hand to try and help me up and I took it.

"I'm sure you'll be ok" she said as she led me to a chair, I looked up and got a better view of the area. It was a big open room and the lights were mostly off, there was also a platform a bit high up with computers and Miguel was standing there working on said computers.

"Hey Jess who's the newbie" a voice that sounded British came from a darker part of the room but when the figure came closer it was just a man and like three kids with him two boys and one girl, they were probably spiders like me.

"Not now hobie, and why did you bring them?" Jess walked towards the man who I just found out was hobie. And while they were talking the three teens were walking over to me. They stood in front of me with smiles on there faces, the girl held out her hand and when I looked at her she had half of her blond hair shaved and there was pink dyed in her ends.

"Hi I'm Gwen Stacy, the one that's talking to Jess is hobie, these two are miles and pavitr but we call him pav" I shook Gwen's hand as the boy who was introduced as pavitr got in front.

"Hello it's so nice to meet you! As Gwen said I'm pavitr prabhakar but you can call me pav. It's so nice to meet another spider women!" He was ranting which I kinda get I am kinda excited to meet other spider people, but before pav could rant more Gwen stopped him and the other boy came up and gave me his hand to shake.

"Nice to meet you names miles morales, and welcome to the society, glad you got a better welcoming than I did when I first came here" I'm sure he stopped himself when he realized what he just said, and how do I know this you might be asking well that's because he's making the face of when you make when you just realize you saw or is that something you shouldn't.

"what do you mean by that?" I said now standing looking down at them while they are now looking up (shorties) still being quite.

"Stellar why don't you sit down" I heard Jess walking back over here, but I didn't want to listen to her at all.

"No I want to know what this kid meant by I had a better welcoming when he did when he first came here!" After I made my statement the room was silent like really silent, I was staring at Jess but she averted my eyes and instead turned them to both miles and over to Miguel, I gave a quick sigh and sat back down.

"You know what forget it, miles can tell me when he's ready and when he is ready I'll be there to listen" miles gave me a small smile when I finished talking and Jess only sighed in relief.

"So is anyone gonna show me around?" I asked them and I stood up again walking over to the British dude and holding out my hand.

"Stellar carter" all I said was that and I was trying to be cool, the man looked up at me and shook my hand.

"Hobie brown, and just giving you a warning don't be on good term with the big man over there" he notch'd his head over to Miguel, like he was telling me he is the real problem which I have no problem with not being around him.

"Alright how about you guys show me around?" I looked over to Gwen, Pav, and Miles, they all gave me a wide smile and started taking me out of the room and into and very large are where there was a crap ton of spider people.

"Holy shit there are so many!" I yelled very amazed by the sight. I heard the three teens laugh at that and hobie chuckled.

"I can already tell that we are all going to get along just great" hobie said the teens just agreed with him.

I don't know how long it's been but it felt like hours of just hanging out with these kids, after a while Gwen and hobie were having a meaningless argument and pav was trying to be voice of reason, then there I was standing next to miles and I noticed that he was a little uncomfortable.

"Hey I meant what I said in Miguel's office, when your ready to tell me I'll be there to listen" we both looked at each other and let me tell you he was really short he was probably 5'8 or something so looking down at him is kinda funny to me.

"Thanks but it nothing really it's all in the past" he said now looking back at those three, I gave a large sigh and decided on something.

"Look kid I'm going to give you advise, now don't give me credit it was given to me by a friend who got it from their mom" he looked back at me which a bit of confusion on his face and it almost made me laugh but I didn't.

"He told me that his mom once told him that not every hero looks like a hero, and that not every monster looks like a monster" after I said that his face went from confusion to a little bit surprised, I gave a little chuckle but then I looked at the time, and I cursed myself out.

"Shit I got to go!" I said as I pressed a few buttons on the watch to make a portal to my dimension.

"Don't forget my advise and I'll see you guys later bye!" Before they could say anything I jumped into the portal on the way home, but then I just realized.

Hello I know that this chapter was probably bad but I was kinda loosing inspiration but thank you so much for reading this chapter and I'll see you next chapter.
