{No one's Pov}

As soon as they landed, Ember was rushed into the med bay. Natasha followed Steve as he helped Ember to the med bay. Not even stopping to change out of her widow suit as they passed their rooms like she would usually do.

Natasha waited outside with Steve as Ember was getting treated. Steve had to stay as he was team leader so he was confused as to why Natasha stayed when she didn't need to.

"Nat, you can go, you don't have to stay." Steve stated as he looked to the woman who stood opposite the doors to the med bay.

Natasha didn't look away from the doors as she spoke to Steve. "I'm staying. I was her partner on that mission."

Steve raised his eyebrow as he knew that wasn't the only reason. "Nat, you've been paired with Clint countless times and when he's injured you don't stick around, or well, you at least go back to your room to detox from the mission first."

Natasha shook her head at the statement. "That's different."

"How so?" Steve asked, genuinely curious about how this situation was any different.

"Clint's been hurt so many times before I know he'll be fine." Natasha answered, still not looking at Steve.

Steve came and stood next to Natasha, now watching the door too. "You don't think she will be fine?"

Natasha didn't answer him as she looked up slightly for a second. He noticed how Natasha would stand up slightly every time there was movement by the door, like she was waiting for the doctor to come out and tell her any news.

"Nat? Why don't you believe she'll be fine?" Steve asked, nudging her in the shoulder slightly.

Natasha sighed before she looked at Steve. "You weren't there. She was so weak her powers even flickered, and that has never happened to Wanda. She has me worried."

Steve smiled for a moment when he heard that Natasha was worried. He knew she didn't worry easily so Natasha evidently had feelings for Ember.

"Nat, you know everyone's powers are different." Steve sighed, he knew she did so he wasn't really asking her. "Go change out of that suit, Natasha. I'm sure you won't miss a thing."

Natasha looked at Steve, both of his sentences didn't sound like a question. She could tell he was serious about her leaving. Unfortunately for Steve, Natasha's stubborn.

"I'm waiting, Steve." Natasha stated as she looked to the doors of the med bay again.

Steve rolled his eyes as he looked away from Natasha and back to the doors too. "You know I was more telling you then asking right?"

Natasha nodded. "I know, I wasn't really asking for your advice though."

Clint came down to the med bay. Standing next to Natasha. He knew she would be here. He knew more than anyone else that Natasha had feelings for Ember, he might have even known before Natasha.

"Nat, go, if anything happens, I'll come get you instantly." Clint said in a way to reassure her. Natasha frowned, confused at Clint, but he only looked back with a small smile. "Oh come on Nat, I see the way you look at her. Now go. I'll take your place."

Natasha only sighed before she stood up from the wall. "You better keep me updated..." Natasha said as she pointed to Clint before leaving.

"Why does she listen to you? You guys practically hate each other half the time." Steve asked as he looked at Clint.

Clint laughed lightly looking at Steve before watching the med bay doors. "She doesn't, she trusts me. We both know if those doors opened right now, you would check on Ember before Natasha would even know she's awake. That's not going to do you any favours with Nat."

Natasha got to her room as quickly as she could. She didn't want to waste much time. Natasha sighed and placed her guns back into her weapons before there was a knock at the door. It was the witch herself, Wanda.

"Is it Ember, is she okay?" Natasha immediately asked as she spotted someone at the door.

Wanda walked into the room, sitting on Natasha's bed as she shrugged. "I don't know, that's what I came to ask you about." Wanda watched Natasha for a moment before she spoke again. "Are you okay?"

Natasha rolled her eyes at Wanda's question. "Wanda, I'm not the one with a bullet in me, remember?"

Wanda smiled slightly as she continued to watch what Natasha was doing as the ginger moved to her closet. "Well, obviously, but come on Nat. You're going to tell me you're completely fine?"

Natasha shrugged as she moved a few things around before getting out a clean pair of clothes. "Why wouldn't I be?"

Wanda stood from Natasha's bed, walking over to her as shrugged again. "Oh come on Nat, we both know neither of us are okay after a mission. Not with the things we've been through. I know from how loud your thoughts are that you are really concerned for Ember. Now why is that?"

"Does everyone know about that?" Natasha asked as she looked at Wanda, she was generally curious if she didn't conceal her feelings for Ember as well as she thought she did.

Wanda shrugged again as she gave Natasha a small grin. "If you mean everyone as in Clint, Steve and I then yes."

Natasha groaned as she turned away from Wanda. "Well that's great." Natasha sighed before she entered her bathroom to get change and patch up any small cuts she may have. Natasha exited the bathroom in a pair of sweats, seeing Wanda laying on her bed. "You're still here?"

Wanda nodded before Clint showed up at the door. "Hey, she's awake."

Wanda sat up and Natasha nodded before all three started to walk to the med bay. Natasha looked at Clint as they walked. "Do you know anything? Did they get the whole bullet? Her vitals?"

Clint shook his head as he looked at Natasha. "No, I came to get you as soon as we were told she was waking up."

Natasha nodded before they continued to walk to the med bay, getting there just as Steve left the room. He nodded towards Natasha before she walked passed and stood by Ember. A little relief washing over Natasha as she saw Ember.

"Hey Phoenix" Natasha said as she walked over to Ember, getting her attention.

Ember smiled as she looked at Natasha. "Hey, didn't think you would check on me."

Natasha rolled her eyes before she nodded to Ember's side. "How's the wound?"

Ember shrugged before she looked down to the wound in question. "Ahh, it hurts like a bitch but I'm a survivor."

Natasha nodded before she looked back to Ember's face. "You know, you scared me for a moment."

Ember laughed lightly as she looked back at Natasha. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

Natasha rolled her eyes at Ember's response before she gently nudged her arm, "Move over then. We're watching a movie."

Ember raised a brow at Nat as she did move to one side of the bed. "You're going to stay?"

Natasha nodded as she climbed into the side of the bed "I've told you. Everyone needs company."

Ember nodded, a small grin appearing on her face. "And you choose yours carefully."

"I do." Natasha nodded again as she looked at Ember, smiling slightly. "And you always seem to be on bed rest whenever you need company."

Ember rolled her eyes with a small smile before handing Natasha the controller for the tv. "So what are we watching?"
