Happy New Year

Police has already left with the criminals and Avni was walking towards the bike.
Neel: Avni..
Avni turns back
Neel: Your family is very lucky to have you. People don't easily give up their passion for the sake of family. And sometimes family may not be worth enough to give up your passion.  You are lucky you have a good family.

Avni gives a sad smile: Luck! ? Agar hum itne lucky h to Papa ka ye haal nahi hota.
Neel: actually, can I ask
what happend to him?
Avni: It was an accident. Hit and run case. Mujhe bahut gussa h uss admi par,
jisne mere papa ka ye haal kiya h. I hate him. I will surely sent him to jail for whatever he had done to us. Mere maa bachpan mei apni maa ko kho diya, phir Papa ka ye accident aur phir grand pa ka death. She has gone through a lot. That's why she got depressed when she came to know about the bomb blast. You know everybody need a support system in their life. Meri maa ka support system Papa tha. Par papa... Ab mein kohish kar rahi hu unki support system banne ki. Sometimes I think if papa hadn't faced the accident...If he were alright...
Unknowingly tears falls down from Avni’s eyes. She turned to the otherside to hide it from Neel.
Neel come in front of avni & cuped her face.
Neel: Avni, tum ro rahi ho? Tumhari aankhon mei aansu achi nahi lagti. You’r very strong Avni, I haven't ever seen a strong girl like you. Plaese don’t cry.
They share an eyelock. 
Avni:I  am not crying.
She release her self from Neel’s haands( he was still holding her face). Avni: This is not tears. She points upwards.
Neel: Baarish...
He widens his arms to enjoy the light rain. Avni stares him for a while.
Avni: Neel, Let's go before the rain pours down heavily. We won't be able to find a shelter.
Neel: ok, fine.
They are again on bike. Drizzle, cold wind and Avneil on bike. The ambience itself is so romantic.
Neel is looking in the mirror to see Avni & she notices it.
Avni hides her face and Neel smiles.
They stop bike due to heavy rain and run into a waiting shed. A boy and a girl also enter into it.
Girl: Oh I ‘m so excited. it’s 11.59 pm. 1 minute for new year.
Boy: ya..me too super excited. Let’s close our eyes and count down. At exact 12:00 let’s open our eyes and look at
each other and wish new year.
Girl: Ok.
Neel: mei to bhul hi gaya tha ki aaj new year night h.
Avni: mei bhi.
The girl and boy start counting. ....3 2 1 .They open their eyes and wish happy new
year to each other. Happy New year.. Exactly the same time Avni and Neel also look eachother.
Avneil: Happy New Year.
Boy to Girl: Now nobody can separate us. We will be together always..
The Girl hugs boy.
Hearing this Avni and Neel are surprised. Avni looks into the rain
and starts to wet her hands. Neel keep staring her.
Neel in mind: Avni, I love you. You made me fall for you. I never thought that I will feel for someone like you. Noone can resist falling in love with
you. Avni feels it & look back.
Avni: Neel..neel.(no reaction). She sprinkles the water on Neel.
Neel:(shocked &wipes his face) what’s this? Avni laughs.
Neel: Acha itni hasi, Now its my turn. Avni: No neel
Neel: I will not spare u. He starts to sprinkle water on Avni and both start a cute water fight. Finally they get tired and look at eachother. They burst
into laughter.
Neel: Avni, tum haste hue bahut achi lagti ho.
Avni: Tum bhi.
After the rain they return to hotel on bike. Next morning, they did final meeting and dispersed.
Neel: We have a party to night and we will be leaving tomorrow morning. Avni: ok.
Neel: Do u want to go for shopping?
We have some time.
Avni: ya. I have to buy gifts to everyone. Neel: fine, lets go. They buy gifts for
family. Avni takes a batik (silk fabric ) and gives it to Neel. Avni: ye meri taraf se Bebe keliye.
Neel: mene socha mereliye h (make a face) bebe keliye ho to tum khud dedo. Avni: Tum dedo na please.
Neel: ok. But why are you gifting my bebe?
Avni: Why can't I? Mujhe grand ma nahi h, aur bebe hamesha kehti h ki unhe apni bebe samjho.
Neel smiles.
Neel in mind:jaldse jald wo
tumhari hi bebe hojaegi aur tum meri. Neel sees a red gown there.
Neel in mind: Very beautiful. I
will gift this to Avni. She will be more beautiful in this. Kya baat h neel aaj kal tujhe Red colour bhi ache lagne lage. He buys it and secretly put it in Avni’s shopping bags. They return. In the evening Neel is getting ready. He is wearing a black suit. He is looking at the mirror and sees Avni is
standing behind him. She is wearing a black gown.
Neel: Tum? (surprised)
Avni: Ha..mein. (smiles)
Neel: I was thinking about you.
Avni: Really? What were you thinking?(a cute suspicious expression)
Neel: Wo mein..(blushing).
Avni comes closer to Neel.
Avni: If you fumble like this how are you going to tell me?
Neel:  tell you what?
Avni: (again moves closer) The feelings in your mind.
Neel: So you knew about my feelings? Do you feel the same for me?
Avni smiles.
Avni: You never asked me. I will tell you when you ask me.(she puts her both hands on Neel’s shoulder) When are you going to ask me Mr. Nackchada
Khanna? Neel hugs her very tightly and she disappears. Neel : Kaha chali gayi? Did I imagine all this?( he hits lightly
on his head) Then he hears the calling bell. He opens the door and awestruck
seeing Avni ( She is wearing the same gown as in his dream). Avni: Kitne time lagate ho tayyar hone mei. It’s getting late?
Neel: Yeah
Avni: What yeah? Hello...(she waves hands) I am asking you.
Neel: oh.. ha. I ‘m ready. Let’s go. BTW, you look stunning in this black gown. Black is my favourite colour.
Avni: thanks. Par tumne kaha tumhara fav. Colour white h.
Neel: ha dono fav. h(in mind: I like all those colour you wear.) They goes.
The party is really classy. Suddenly neel sees Jenny there. Neel: ye chipkali ladki yaha kaise? Idea! Iss bahane kuch maze leta hu.
Neel goes speedly to Avni.
Neel: Avni, wo dekho.
Avni: kya?
Neel: Jenny, Girl from yesterday's party.
Avni: Oh that girl. She came searching for you to fulfill your wish?
Neel: my wish? 
Avni: You wanted to dance with her no?
Then Jenny sees Neel and comes to him. Jenny: Hei, Mr. Handsome.
Neel: hi Jenny.
Jenny: Oh! U remember my name. I can’t believe. Anyway, yesterday u were busy and we couldn’t enjoy. But today we can, right? And I must say, u look damn hot in black baby.
Neel: oh..thank you.
Neel in mind: Will Avni do a cat fight with Jenny for me?
Avni in mind: Baby? Disgusting!
I better escape from here.
Avni was about to go but neel holds her hand.
Neel to jenny: meet my love Avni. Sorry Jenny, i’m gonna dance with her only. Neel drag Avni to the dance floor & start dancing.
Avni: Neel, what’s this? And... what did you say to her? L..love?
Neel: sorry Avni, i wanted to escape from her.
Avni: (angry) What? tum mujhe
tera bodyguard samajh rahe ho? You should handle your fan girls yourself. Don't use me as your shield.
She tries to go but neel pulls her closer. Neel: Aisa nahi h Avni, You are my friend & you know, a friend in need is a friend indeed. Please help me. (with puppy face) .
Avni: You wish. You are not a toddler to show puppy face and ask for help Mr. Handsome baby!
Neel holds Avni by her waist tightly and stare into her eyes. Avni feels like butterflies are fluttering in her
stomach and become concious. She avoind eye contact.
Neel: kya bulaya mujhe, handsome baby?
Avni: wo mene nahi usne bulaya h. S... she called you.
Neel:(smiles) Admit it you are jealous.
A: (take a deep breath) No. Never. Why would I?
Neel: Why are you shivering?
Avni: I am neither jealous nor shivering. Do u get it?
She angryily looks neil. Then Avni’s phone rings.
Avni: Ali! She goes outside to talk with a smile.
Neel in mind: Damn it! Phir se wo Ali. He always pop up in wrong timings. I have to find if there is anything going on between them.
He follows Avni and sees Avni is talking on the phone very happily. He can’t hear their talk.
Neel: kitne haste khelte baat kar rahi h usse? Aur mujhse hamesha anger/ attitude dikhate ho.
Avni cuts call after talking.
Avni in mind: Bachaliya Ali ne. Wo question mark kya kya puch rahe the. What is going on in his head? . His questions are making me so nervous recently. I am so confused. Does he feels something for me? Before he comes searching me l have to escape.
Avni silently goes to her room hidingfrom Neel. She was continuously looking back & bumbs to Neel who was standing with folded
hands with attitude.
Neel: Are you playing hide and seek?Avni: Nope. I am going to my room.
Neel: Can you come with me. I need to talk to you.
Avni is irritated and in mind:Oh God. Again going to bombard me with questions?
Avni to Neel: Neel please.. I m
having head ache and want to take rest. I ‘m going to room. Mujhe packing bhi karni h. We have a flight tomorrow morning.  Did you forget? Good night. Neel: (dissappointed) Good night. She left. Kya hua isko? Mein uss se kuch kehena chahta tha par... She is behaving like a stranger. Why she is so confusing. Sometimes I feel that she is very close to me, but in the very next instant she makes me feel that I am nowhere near to her. Why?
Next day they bid bye to Malaysia and reached India. They rarely exchanged words during
journey. At the airport their families were waiting for them.
