Chapter 33: Gray, where are you?

3rd Person Pov.

Yuki slowly walked over to Natsu, Wendy, and the cats confused on why everything was white and where everyone went.

"Yuki!" Natsu yelled running towards her and hugging her but Yuki's eyes just widened confused because her brother was shaking.

"What the hell? Why are you hugging me, Natsu? and where'd did everyone and the town go? Where are we?" Yuki asked confused.

"They all left, to Edolas." Carla explained. "Anima sucked them up." Carla explained but Yuki just shook her head with a laugh.

"Funny prank. Where is Gray, Nalia, and everyone?" Yuki asked sniffing the air but she didn't smell anyone and she looked up at the vortex in the sky. The others were talking kinda just letting Yuki look up, then Carla asked why Happy knew nothing when it was supposed to be implanted into them.

"I..." Happy started but Yuki turned to Carla.

"Arashi knows nothing too! She's just like you guys but she has a fox form." Yuki defended but then gasped. "Arashi!" Yuki yelled turning away from them. "Shit." Yuki said then went to run off but Natsu grabbed her hand.

"Don't run off. We need to stick together." Natsu said but Yuki shook her head trying to pull away from him.

"No! Arashi's saved my life too! I need to know she's okay! She's my partner!" Yuki yelled trying to pull her arm away, but her brother was too strong. "I haven't been far to her since we joined the guild! I've been ignoring her more and more and if she's hurt I don't know what I'll do! So let go of me!" Yuki yelled at her brother and Natsu's eyes widened slightly but then they saw a light in the sky.

"YUKI!" Arashi yelled flying down the fastest she could, not as fast as Happy or Carla though, and she flew right into Yuki's chest. "Everyone disappeared Yuki!" Arashi said tears in her eyes. "I was with Nalia then I was all alone." Arashi whimpered out and Yuki hugged Arashi to her chest.

"It's okay." Yuki whispered hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry I blew you off." Yuki muttered as Carla said that was the situation, that the exceeds were from Edolas, had a mission that they couldn't talk about, and Carla filled Arashi in a bit.

"Well, then." Natsu started punching his hand as Arashi and Yuki looked up at him. "I guess there's only one thing to do. What do you say, guys? Shall we head to this Edolas place?" Natsu asked and Yuki looked at Arashi.

"They are running out of Magic there so they took our family? I'm gonna talk to this king guy." Yuki growled out her hand in a tight fist as she hugged Arashi.

"What kind of logic is that?! In fact, did you actually understand anything I just said?" Carla asked but Yuki looked up.

"I understood the part where you said that there was a place up there, with no magic, so they took our family. Our guild." Yuki stated hugging Arashi and she bit her lip in anger. "They are killing people, and taking magic away for their own selfish devices." Yuki stated.

"Natsu-san... Yuki-san..." Wendy stated then Happy's stomach growled.

"Natsu, I'm getting nervous. It's making me hungry." Happy said innocently looking up at Natsu making the pink haired fire dragon slayer smile down at his exceed partner.

"Don't worry about it, that's perfectly healthy!" Natsu said with a smile, so Yuki looked over at her brother then looked down, her cat ears and tail appearing, her tail waving side to side lowly near the ground as she stared down sadly.

"Why can't I be happy like him in these situations... he can smile even though everyone is in danger and he can make everyone feel like it's okay... he has so much confidence." Yuki barely whispered, her voice catching in her throat as she spoke.
