There was pin-drop silence in the room , no one uttered anything until Manik came in the room.

Unknown to the fact he started "Dad i didnt get the earlier design varmala so i had to wait and get it done so that this wedding goes perfect afterall the theme was  red and golden ,hai na? Guys what happened ?" but his question was answered with silence and two of them staring at him almost making Manik uncomfortable.

To handle the situation Rudraksh just sided Manik to a corner and made him know of all the events and problems occured . And before he can even react they heard Durgeshwari speak that too to beeji

"Brinda we have been friends over several decades now , and you know everyone from our family , i have a proposal today -Proposal of Manik and Preetas wedding , please dont say no"only to make Sarla stumble on her feet and Manik to go numb for a while, he didnt even know how his world crashed within seconds 'he ,how can he marry ....today .that to with someone else ,never, its impossible ' Here beeji calmly replied " atleast ask them first , see Manik is here ask him first ? its their life Ari we are no one to interfere , and to your silent question , i trust Manik with my daughter but at last its their decision , we cant make them scapegoat for someone else's mistakes. Also Rudra did you say whatever i spoke about Preeta to her , atleast let her know about her past before taking any decision ."

Listening Beeji Manik felt as if he started breathing again , but also was curious about Pr.....nah ,that Jiggly-puff's past .

Until now the one who was a silent spectator ,spoke "Yes Brinda the same day ,and the alliance between   Manik and Preeta was and is both our decision , infact not only us Resham , Raj and Nyonika too know about it ."

Raj immediately said" Yes Beeji if not for your promise those Luthras might be on roads till now , how dare they ? And you Sarla , you call me Bhaisahab right ? then why didnt you say all this to us , if we would have known earlier how those luthras treated our girls the matter wont have been stretched this much"before he could say further Nyonika tried to make him calm saying " Raj calm down , now everything is fine na?, " What fine Nyo? Listening to all this Manik felt an unusual feeling rise in him as , anger started bubbling in and his eyes puzzeled with utter curiousness , What actually happend with her ? and who are Luthras?

Sarla started sobbing as all past started flashing in front of her , the glimpse of tear -striken -Preeta was too tough to handle and Resham beside her stood patting her back as if giving her support , Everysoul had tears in his eyes though not knowing the whole story 

Rudrapratap asked Manik directly this time" Manik , you are our honour , i know it is sudden but please say yes to marriage "

At this moment Manik was shaken, his idol was saying him 'please' but what could he do no ,he cant marry her ,he loves someone else , no " As if knowing whats running in her gransons mind Dadi(Durgeshwari) asked him to come in study and asked Sarla and Beeji to think about this decision .

The calm breeze coming from the side window did no help in calming the heat in the room, Opposite to the silence in the room Manik had a full storm in his mind , making him go crazy ..the only face coming in his mind was Nandini .

Dadi exactly knew what is going in this child's mind  .she started with" Nandini " only to see Manik snap towards her shockingly. "What , u thought we dont know about her ? we do Nandini right the girl you love , I also know Manik what actually happened  in last some months , Soha , fire and her mistrust everything , I cant say you to forget her but Manik i want you to give yourself a second chance and that too with Preeta and trust me Manik i am not saying this cause Preeta is my favourite child and i want her to move on , nor i am saying this cause of the Typical reputation issue . Manik i  want you both to be happy , and i think well not only me your Dadu , Dad and Mom we all think that Preeta is best for you and not just from now but from very early  . Your Dadu was adamant on you marrying her until we got to know about her engagement and thats when we left that wish of us . I know Manik you love Nandini ,and she loves you too ,but Manik the base of any relation is trust  , and your relation lacks the exact same thing , no i am not saying that you both are wrong ,its just that you both have your insecurities , your sacrifice , your ego as the base ik you have a fire within you which you have to tame , you have to hide just because she is with you cause you know that she cannot handle the real you . Am i right Manik ? "

All this time Manik was just looking down and kept listening with a spiral of emotions and flashbacks at back of his head and he knew his Dadi is right at a point and when a question was thrown in his court , and all he could do was nod his head

Getting her response she continued" Also let me speak very frankly i know you may be hurt but you need to know the reality , Just tell me a thing Manik You dont like your Mom , and somewhere you hate her but tell me can you give-up on her because of anybody may it be your father or Dadu ? Hmm Ah dont answer i know , you can never give up on her but can you say same about Nandini , well why even to ask you, you just gave up on her after proposing her and that too for Dhruv , though he is your friend how can anyone give up on their love and especially you Manik you !! You have been always terretorial and protective about your things yet you let her go ! I think you know my point Manu , bragging the past will take you nowhere , just give it a thought , trust your family and give Preeta and yourself a chance , not for you maybe for Your JIGGLY-PUFF"

Saying this she left the room only to hope for positive

On the other hand  Preeta was called upstairs hurriedly buy Rudraksh who was looking after all necessary things at altar . Being called so sudden Preeta had a very unusual feeling rise in her but still she kept num and walked uptairs to a room only to feel the cold chill of silence in room only her to wonder what actually happened.

Looking at his doll after so many years Rudrapratap felt emotional but he has to make the things better for his family and for them so " Preeta  beta , i will let you know the happenings but just listen calmly " and then he started narrating every incidence happened here just stopping at" And then Durga your Dadi suggested a solution ....."

"what solution ?" asked Preeta with the continuous stares she was getting somewhere she knew that it is related to her ..

Then Beeji answered  " Your marriage that too with Manik "and before she could continue Preeta stopped her "Impossible , Beeji you know na it is impossible , even after knowing what i went through you are suggesting me this , Sorry , i cant do this and do they even know that i was married ? do they beeji?" to get an answer by Nyonika " Yes we do bachha , we know every wrong you have faced but you need to move on at some time , you need to let go your past to live a better life and i sincerely think that you should say yes "

Dadu continued " And dont think you are a replacement or an option to us kid , we always wanted you to be our Maniks wife , it was always you "

Preeta still retorted " If i hadnt been broken to scratch i would have married but now i dont have anything , nothing to invest in any relation and i dont want to burden myself on anybody " 

But beeji had other plans " Preeta , you trust us right ?" to get nod from her " then marry Manik , i know Manik , and i know you both are best for each other"Sarla who was surprisingly quiet till now replied" But  Ma, we cannot do this to Preeta , Firstly  Karan has broken her so much i think she needs time" but she was answered back in lightening speed" Sarla , until now you didnt listen to my decisions regarding her , we never opposed you but now  i want you to trust me and listen to me. Let Preeta and Manik marry each other and take it as my decision as a family head and you Preeta trust me this time for last , atleast for me Marry Manik "

Preeta was unable to protest now ,this was the first time her beeji has opposed her Maa , also it was first time she asked anything from her, and she can clearly see her beeji's eyes ,it clearly shows how much she wants this marriage to happen and she cant say no now . Yes she is ready ! if this brings smile on her family's face after long time , she is ready to marry that " Coal-eyed Panda".
