They two made it back home, and once they get inside, Dean lays on the couch.

Cas followed Dean back to the couch and sat down beside him. He placed a blanket over Dean, hoping it would help him to relax. "... How do you feel?" He asked him.

Dean sat up and looked up at Cas. "Thanks, Cas. I'm just tired, is all."

"I understand completely, Dean." He smiled softly. Cas's wings had folded behind him as he sat next to Dean on the couch. "I could stay with you if you'd like."

"Please?" Dean asked.

"Of course. Try to get some rest." His wings extended again, enveloping the two of them. Cas was happy that Dean asked him to stay. At least he could be of some comfort to him. Dean starts to get sleepy because of the warmth of Cas's wing and lays his head on Cas's shoulder. When Cas sees this, he starts to blush. To keep from Dean seeing, he covers his face with his other wing.

After another second, Cas could feel Dean's breathing start to get heavier. It was apparent that he was falling asleep. He took his wings from around both of them but kept his hand on Dean's shoulder. With a slight smirk and with the smallest whisper of sound, Cas whispered. "... Sleep well, Dean." Cas's voice was soft. It was filled with concern and love. He knew that Dean needed the sleep badly. He closed his eyes slowly and tried to doze off. With his eyes closed, he thought of Dean. He saw his face. He thought of them walking in the sunlit field, and he thought of how soft Dean's hair was against Cas's wing while Dean slept. Cas smiled despite himself. He was enjoying having this incredible moment with Dean.
