After a moment, Cas led Dean out the door and to the car. "We are going to the family farm. When was the last time you visited it, Dean?" Cas said.

They both get in the car, and Cas sits in the driver seat while Dean is on the passenger side. They both buckle, and Dean sighs.

"I don't remember honestly. It was before the hunting started, I think."

Half an hour later, they get to the farm.

Cas parked the car on the side of the road, turning the engine off. "Do you remember that tree, Dean?" He pointed to a huge oak tree on the edge of the field.

"No." Dean replied, then looked down to the floorboard.

"Okay. Let's us go now. Follow me, please."

Dean nods but looks to the ground as they walk. They then reached the large oak tree, and Cas sat with his back against it. He gestured for Dean to sit next to him. Dean sat next to him and looked away. Cas sighed and placed his arm over Dean's shoulder. "But that is why we should remember him. Sam loved this place. And he loved hunting." His thumb moved across Dean's shoulder. "... But you are going to find a different way to honor his memory, Dean. One that won't hurt you." Dean could feel Castiel's wings wrap gently around him.

"I just wish we could bring him back." Dean said.

"...There isn't, Dean." He met Dean's eyes.* "... But he would not want you to be doing this. Hunting like this. He gestured around to the empty fields. "You have to let go. For Sam." Cas looked at Dean. "...Please, Dean."

"Why can't you bring him back like you did to me?"

Cas paused for a moment as he considered your question. In the end, he shook his head in a sad way.* "I am afraid that I can't, Dean."

"What do you mean you can't! What's so different that you can't bring him back?!" Dean said with anger and tears.

"...I fought. I fought to bring you back, Dean." Cas looked at Dean, his voice full of pain. Full of love. "...I refused to give up trying to save you." He smiled slightly. "... I will always fight to save you, Dean." *He paused before speaking again.* "... But I could not do that for Sam."

"Oh. So, you're just going to give up on Sam, huh?! Just like that?!"

"...Sam is in Heaven, Dean. He is at peace." He paused, hoping that Dean would understand him. "...If I were to bring him back, as I did you, he would have been torn away from that place. He would have come back as a soulless human. I can't do that to him." He met Dean's eyes. "...Please, understand."

Dean looks away from Cas with anger. He then sighs. "I'm sorry for yelling. I understand. "

"I get it. You're mad, and you want him back. But, you're were in hell, and he's in heaven. That's different because you were in a torturous place, and Sam is in a peaceful place. Remember him, Dean. Remember him how he would want to be remembered. As something more than just a hunter."

Cas pulled Dean closer to him, and he held onto him, a small frown on his face. He wrapped his wings around Dean to comfort him.

"Shall we head back to the bunker?" Cas asked.

Dean nods, and Cas helps him up. Dean nods in and starts to cry.

"I'm..... I'm so sorry, Cas. I... I didn't mean to get angry with you.

"It is quite alright, Dean." His voice was comforting. His expression was still worried, but there was no scolding. "I know you feel a lot of pain right now....You just need to try and remember him differently. Not as a hunter but as Sam... It is one of the hardest things to do. I know. But you have to be strong. I am sure Sam would want you to live your life the best you can."

"Let head to the car." He said, reassuring.

They then get into the car, buckle up, and Cas starts to drive back to the bunker.
