Taehyung did not know where he was going. He hadn't expected to be blindfolded the minute he stepped foot into Seoul. He did not even get the chance to see what Jeon Jungkook's representative looks like. His planning and plotting had not prepared him for this minor inconvenience. However, Taehyung was stubborn. He asked questions even when he was told his questions won't be answered. The only thing he knew for sure was that he was in a car and they were going somewhere.
The crown prince sighed and decided to go with the flow of things for now. At least he wasn't tied up. He asked the person driving him to Jeon's headquarters to play the radio and to his utter surprise his wish was granted. The song playing on the radio was not one of his favourites but it will do. The silence was infuriating. A JYP song sounds just as good as an EXO song in this moment.
The drive was long. Taehyung lost count of how many songs had been played by the time he felt the car come to a halt. The cold air hit his face and blew his fringes as he carefully stepped out of the car. Someone had their hand on his elbow, guiding him. They cautioned him of the steps and turns. When he felt warm, he knew he was inside. He was made to sit down on a soft surface before his blindfold was abruptly taken off of him. He blinked to adjust to the light and cussed under his breath. When his vision came back to him, he straightened up and locked gaze with Jeon Jungkook. At long last.
The King of Seoul was seated in a lavish royal blue velvet couch across from him, studying him. The room was brightly lit; Taehyung wanted to look around. But he knew that would be an amateur move. He stared back at the devil in disguise with almost same level of ferocity. Jungkook's head tilted curiously.
"Kim Taehyung." The man's voice was soft compared to his sharp features. It was alluring, melting at the edges. It was cool, like dense forest. Taehyung wanted him to sing, for reasons unbeknownst to himself.
One day I will command you to sing.
"Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung replied, a smirk dancing at the corner of his mouth.
Jungkook's eyes lit up at the mockery, "how was the journey? Hope you aren't too offended by my little prank."
"I wouldn't expect any less from you."
"Pleased to hear you liked your welcome." Jungkook smiled, resembling an angel.
"No need to fake cordiality Jeon. Let's get to business, shall we?"
"Spoken like a true crown prince!" Jungkook gave a sharp clap and sat up straight. "I did not think you had a backbone Kim."
Taehyung scoffed.
"Kim Dongwook did teach you how to speak. What other tricks do you know? Hmm? Or do you only perform if given treats?" Jungkook leaned over, spreading his palms on the table. A mad grin plastered on his face to toy with Taehyung.
Taehyung glared at him, "He taught me how to bite really well. Want me to show you?"
Jungkook 'oo'ed raising his hands up in mock surrender. Then his demeanour changed. As the darkness took over his features a gun materialised in his hand, pointing at Taehyung. He shot twice; bullets flying past Taehyung and lodging into the wall behind him. Taehyung did not flinch.
"Impressive, Kim." Jungkook put the gun down.
"Are you done yet or must I sit through more such acts of intimidation?" Taehyung raised a brow finally leaning back into his chair, crossing his arms over his chest and placing one knee over the other. He was shaking because of the cold air that surrounded them. Taehyung hadn't realised the huge glass windows behind Jungkook were open. But no way in hell would he let Jungkook assume his hands are shaking in fear.
