No Solution

That was the most embarrassing thing ever.

Natsu thought after he put his clothes back on and burried himself under his covers in a failed attempt to hide from the world.

"Natsu! You okay in there?" Lucy asked after knocking on the door several times.

"I just got kicked into an arch, slid down on it on a slide, fell off at the end, and everyone saw. Do you think I'm okay?" Natsu asked rhettorically from under his sheets.

"I don't get why you feel so bad about this, you've been in much more embarrassing situations before" Lucy sighed.

"Thanks Lucy, that makes me feel better" Natsu murmured sarcastically.

"I'm just trying to help you, what made it so embarrassing anyway?" Lucy asked.

"The door's unlocked..." Natsu said instead of responding and Lucy opened the door. She closed the door behind her and walked towards the pink bed that Natsu was in, she layed a hand on what she thought was Natsu's shoulder and sighed.

"Before I tell you, promise you won't freak out or tell anyone" Natsu murmured and Lucy agreed.

"Gray saw what a dork I am, he even said I was one" Natsu began but Lucy looked at him confused.

"I'm... starting to figure out... why I kissed Gray when I was drunk..." Natsu blushed a little and tried to hide it behind his scarf although Lucy couldn't see it anyway.

"Why?" she asked even though she clearly knew why.

"I know the kiss was a drunken kiss but... the feelings behind it were kinda real..." Natsu explained.

"I think I might like him a little but was kinda in denial until now..." he finished and Lucy pulled the covers off just his face.

"That's nothing to be embarrassed about" she said giving him a reassuring smiled.

"I know he's never gonna like me back though, I'm gonna confess one day and he's gonna say he wants to spend the rest of his life with Juvia or something and then they'll get married and I'll live alone forever!" Natsu burried his face in his pillow and Lucy hugged him.

"It's gonna be okay Natsu, if it helps I heard that Juvia is considering on breaking up with him" Lucy said reassuringly.

"Really? I never knew she'd even think about that but I don't want Gray to be upset about it" Natsu said and Lucy smiled and ruffled his hair.

"You're so sweet~ you feeling better?" the latter asked and Natsu slowly nodded.

"A little" he responded.

"Good, I gotta go since Flare's probably worried about me, if you're upset again tell me" Lucy said as she got up and left. Natsu grabbed his pencil and sketchbook before quickly returning to the shelter of the bright pink covers. After an hour and a half Sting, Gajeel, and Wendy had returned to the dorm.

"Natsu-san is that you?" Wendy asked referring to the where the sheets rose a little.

"If you don't answer I'm tackling you" she smirked but Natsu remained silent. So fufilling her promise, Wendy tackled Natsu.

"Not in the mood Wend, sorry" he appologized and Wendy frowned.

"Are you upset over what happened earlier?" she asked and a shaking of the covers showed he was nodding.

"Aww~ it'll be okay Natsu-san!" Wendy reassured him.

"C'mon it wasn't that bad flame brain" Gajeel said as he grabbed a clean pair of clothes and went to the bathroom to change.
