There's a lot of long conversations in this one, and a pretty crazy twist(kinda) at the end.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka POV

"So, did you see anything?" I asked Zhongli.

We were still searching for the Cocogoat, or whatever. I sincerely don't believe it exists, since it was in none of the records I went through while researching the Archon War and Adepti.

"Unfortunately, no. We'll have to go back empty handed."

"So you mean..."

"This was a complete waste of time?" Lumine finished.

"It seems so. We'll have to go back to Bubu Pharmacy. We won't solve anything standing here and racking our brains." Zhongli replied.

"Yep. Let's just go."

We walked in silence for the most part, Zhongli was staring at whatever nature gave him, likely deep in thought. On the other hand, I was still thinking about the slimes. It was the first time I really felt like I failed—other than the time I died.

"Kiyotaka."

I looked to my side. Lumine grabbed my sleeve and stared at me.

"Yes?"

"Did you talk to that group before? They seemed to recognize you."

Lumine seemed curious about my past, although in actuality it had nothing to do with it.

"It was just a past conflict." I spoke truthfully. "As a Millelith guard, it goes without saying that we have to stop them. In fact, we met while I was fighting some, no?"

Lumine nodded. "Right. Sorry for asking."

"No, it's fine. I don't mind."

The rest of the way there was kind of awkward, a solemn silence came over us. Well, it seemed like Zhongli and Paimon were unaffected.

"Hmmm, Cocogoat, Cocogoat. Hey, Mr. Zhongli, have you really never heard of one?"

"No, I'm sorry, but I don't remember a single instance of Cocogoat being mentioned."

Paimon shrugged. "Then there's nothing we can do, I guess. Paimon thinks we should just get her a normal goat."

"I'm sure a normal goat can match a 'legendary adeptibeast.'"

"Hey! Don't blame Paimon for trying!"

After a couple more minutes of travel, we made it back to Bubu Pharmacy without much difficulty. The only problem is that we had nothing to show for it.

"Forgive us, we were unable to fulfill our end of the contract. We found no trace of the Cocogoat adeptibeast of which you speak."

"Ah. What a disappointment. Don't worry about it. But I feel very disappointed."

"Aw, now Paimon feels bad."

"What did you need this Cocogoat for?" Lumine inquires.

"Cocogoat milk is very good. Better than normal milk. I forget the name of the milk. That's why I wrote it down. I have a very bad memory. Let me find it... Ah, here's the name. It's called Coconut Milk."
