In Outer Banks, there are two different sides when it comes to this town, Pogues and Kooks, but for Sam Cameron, he doesn't care about that but is struggling with of being a Kook, where he is friends with one Pogue, while dating another.

After Abby and Kim leave, Sam gets excited for the day that is happening, the day he will never forget.
Sam finished cleaning himself up as he put on one of his best shirts and jeans for his upcoming date with Topper.
Sam and Topper have been dating for a while when Sam's family moved to Outer Banks, and they meet meet each other at the party that Sam hosts and how Topper thinks that Sam is 'Cute', in which Sam blush a bit.
As Sam is brushing his hair, Sarah comes to the room with a smiled look on her face, hoping that her twins date is okay as Rafe rolled his eyes, watching on this.
"Excited for the date?" Sarah asked Sam.
Sam nodded
Rafe just mostly doesn't care at this point, but deep down in him, he is just hoping that his little brother date was okay and do not want him to see him Sam if it goes wrong.

When Sam is ready, Sarah gives him flowers to give to Topper as the twins and Rafe hear the door rings.
Sam opened the door to see Topper at the door. Sam smiled to see him, and Topper kissed Sam.
"Hey Sammy, ready for our date?" Topper asked as Sam gave him flowers to have.
"Yes." Sam said as both of the kooks left and where Sarah and Rafe watch them leaves.
"Don't stay up too late!" Sarah yelled at Sam and Topper.
"We won't!" Sam yelled back.

Abby and Kim are in Abby's room as they decide to have a little sleepover while Abby and Kim's older brothers are doing whatever they are doing.
Abby is putting her hair up in a bun as Kim is drinking beer in her hand.
"Kim, maybe you should be nice to when it comes to kooks, mostly Sam." Abby said to Kim in a disappointment way.
Kim stopped as she turned to Abby with a "WTF" look on her face.
"What do you mean? Abby, you know when it comes to Kooks, they are filthy rich assholes who always take everything!" Kim said.
Abby signs, "I get that, but what I'm saying is that maybe you should be nice around Sam, sense he and Sarah also are really nice around us."
Kim rolled her eyes of that, in which she thinks of it, but decided that she should try for her friendship with Abby.
"Okay, fine, but you almost promised me that we should party together in here while the guys are away." Kim said as she put her beer can down.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Abby said to Kim.
Before Abby says anything else, Kim throws a pillow at the Routledge girl, which makes Abby laugh, and where both girls have a pillow fight.

During their date, Sam and Topper are sitting together as they watch the bonfire and how their date is at the beach.
Sam continues to watch the bonfire as he turns to Topper. He was just wondering what would Topper said to him after the date.
"So, I know that we been dating for a while when my family and I just moved to Outer Banks." Sam said to Topper.
"Yea, and that is?" Topper asked Sam.
"That is that is this happening." Sam said to Topper.
Topper nodded to Sam as Sam moved from his spot and drank his strawberrie lemonade that Topper buys for him.
"Yea and I know this day may come true, but..." Topper said to the blonde Cameron boy as both he and Sam say something at the same, but not in a good way.
"You will purpose to me."
"I want to break up."
Sam looked at Topper, confused as he did not understand what Topper was talking about, mostly to break up with him about what?
"Wait, what?" Sam asked Topper, in confusion.
"Yea, I want to break up with you. It's just because it's that you are being too nice." Topper said to Sam.
"Too nice about what?" Sam asked Topper.
Topper looks at the Cameron boy as he continues, "You are being too nice around pouges, where both of us are kook."
That makes Sam upset as he gets up from Topper and gets his lemon drink and splashes it at Topper.
Topper spits out from the lemon as he sees Sam leaving as Sam begins to cry a bit.
"Sam, Sammy, wait!" Topper said to Sam.
"No!, fuck you Topper, you broke up with me just because that I'm too nice around people, I'm nice to people, even when they are in a different class in Outer Banks!" Sam yelled at Topper as tears begins to falls.
"Well, Sam, I didn't mean by that, but I think it's just wrong to do." Topper said as he tried to stop Sam from walking away.
"How is it wrong!?, what do you feel when it comes to being nice to anyone who are not just different but also whether or not that they are rich or poor!" Sam screams at Topper and pushes him away from him.
Topper signs as he watches Sam leave the beach and walk home to the Cameron house.
Sam decided to get something that would help him....
I'm drinking champagne throughout the night.

The next day, Sarah woke up and decided to make some breakfast, where she didn't realize that she saw Sam was in the kitchen, drinking his 5th glass of champagne.
"Are you okay, Sam?" Sarah asked.
Sam shakes his head as he continues to cry. Sarah comes to Sam and hugs him as Sam hugs back after putting down his wine glass and begins to cry.
Topper really breaks up for him due to the fact that he is friends with the pogues that he hangs out the most and how he is nice to other pogues and not being a "kook" enough.
