Their food had arrived faster than the pair expected for it to. Giyuu slowly picked up his chopsticks, murmuring a soft 'Thank you for the meal'. Before eating the Daikon, he looked over at Y/N who was watching him expectantly. "You.. shouldn't watch me eat." He advised, looking away from her before looking back at the Daikon.
"Huh? Why not?" Y/N perked up, surprised at his words. He put down his chopsticks, looking at the girl sitting before him. "Kocho and I have eaten together before. I smiled as I was eating and she thought it was creepy, so she told me to turn away. I don't want you to be afraid or disgusted of me." He admitted, a little embarrassed. Y/N's eyes widened at what she had just heard and frowned.
"I won't judge you, I promise. If you're really not comfortable with me not watching you because of this reason, then I won't." She smiled, and Giyuu's eyebrows rose in surprise but it was a subtle movement that not even Y/N noticed. "I suppose it's alright then." Giyuu dully spoke, and picked up his chopsticks again, beginning to eat. As soon as he began to eat, Y/N did as well. While they were eating, Y/N took a quick peek at Giyuu's face, and blushed.
He had a pink tint dusted over his cheeks and a small smile whilst eating the Daikon. If only she could take a picture and carry it with her everywhere to her heart's desire. He didn't look creepy at all, nor was his smile disgusting. He looked geninuely happy to be eating the Salmon Daikon. "Shinobu must've been exaggerating when she said your smile was creepy." Y/N commented, and Giyuu looked over at her.
"You really think so?" He swallowed the Daikon, "Even the chef was scared." He added, looking down at the bowl that was nearly finished. Even Y/N's bowl was still halfway full but she shrugged at what Giyuu said. "I think your smile's cute." She smiled. She suddenly froze when she realized what she said, and even Giyuu's expression turned more shock but.. he also seemed flustered.
