DECEMBER 11TH, 2023, MONDAY
The group went down the stairs despite having initially been taken aback by Giyuu's sudden appearance. Awkward silence filled the staircase since Sanemi, Shinobu and Giyuu were together, resulting in Y/N and Mitsuri being too scared to speak up within the awkwardness.
"So... Do you guys like pancakes?" Mitsuri spoke, trying to think of ways to ease the tension. Shinobu internally facepalmed when hearing her best friend's question.
"Just shut up." Sanemi gruffly grumbled. Giyuu side-eyed him, but didn't say anything further since Sanemi would probably push him down the stairs if he even dared utter a word.
Mitsuri pouted, shoulders slightly slouching in defeat. Shinobu patted her shoulder with a smile to support her.
They quickly made their way towards the auditorium where everyone had already gathered at. Kagaya turned his head and smiled at the sight of the group.
"Ah, you guys are here." He spoke. "We were just talking about the costume designs, take a seat." He gestured for them to sit while speaking, and they quickly took a seat. "Sorry for being late." Shinobu bowed her head slightly while taking her seat and Kagaya shook his head to reassure her.
"No worries. As I was saying, me and the principal was talking earlier. He decided that costumes were unnecessary for this type of plot and it would only add to trouble, therefore, we decided that everyone can wear the clothes they please as long as it's not too revealing." He explained. "However, Gyomei and Tengen, you two will have costumes since you're both.. trees."
