"You.. What's wrong with you!?" A voice shouted in the distance, causing Y/N to turn around in fear. What was going on?
"How could you be so worthless!?" The voice screamed again, stomping towards Y/N angrily. Her eyes widened as she watched her scream again.
"I've.." The voice paused in a scoff, clenching their fist. "I've worked SO hard for you to live a good life, and this how you repay me!? You— YOU BRAT!" A slap echoed throughout the room, Y/N's eyes flickering in the dark in terror.
"I'm sorry." Y/N whispered, lowering her head in shame. "Don't you dare disappoint me again." The voice spoke sternly, Y/N only nodding.
"Don't nod, answer me." It mocked. "Yes.. mother. I will not disappoint you again." She whispered.
"If I catch you disappointing me again, trust me. There will be consequences." The mother glared, watching in amusement as Y/N trembled.
"I won't disappoint you." She grit her teeth, clenching her jaw while her hands balled into fists. "I promise, Mother." She whispered.
