I'm in train to Jericho when I feel some one sitting across me. I don't care soo I keep listening to Lady Gaga when the person touched my leg. I took off my headphones and look at the boy sitting across me asking " Hi I don't what to be rude but why did you touch me?"
The boy looked at my bag and then at me as he was saying " I just wanted to ask, if it's posible that you are going to Nevermore? " He looked back at me as I saw that he has vampire teeth.
" Oh yes I'm and btw my name is Roxana Belova." I said with a small smile, talking my headphones from my neck,turning them off and I put them in the tote bag.
"I'm Daniel Rallye but call me Dan and nice to meet you Roxana." Dan said taking his jacket off showing his tattoo on his Neck.
"Nice to meet you too and nice tattoo" I said blushing. I'm not good with people because i'm anxious with them but with Dan I don't feel like that. We sat like that for about four hours minding our own business. Dan was on holidays with his girlfriend Lily that was sitting in the next coupe. I asked where we are the women walking around and she said" few minutes away from Jerricho" and walked away. I stood up taking my suitcases and tote bag putting it on my shoulder. I looked at Dan who was sleeping as I lightly shook him to wake him up " Dan we are soon arriving to Jerricho wake up!". Dan woke up jumping up taking his bags thanking me for waking him up. I took off the first and waited for Dan. After a while he came with another girl he was talking before he sat to you.
" Bye I'm going see you at school Dan and Lily" I said walking away hearing "byeee" from them.
I was walking around Jerricho after I found a coffee shop so I thougt , I could ask the bartender if he knows how to get to Nevermore. I walked in and sat at table in front of a window. As I was looking out of the window I heard voice saying " Hello what can I get you?" the bartender asked taking out his notebook and pencil waiting for my answer.
"One Jasmine tea and chocolate croissant please, to go. Do you know how to get to Nevermore?" I asked looking at him making notes.
" Yes, but you missed the bus and next one is in two hours. I can ask my father to call the principal to come for you if you want. By the way my name is Tyler" He said making his way to the coffemaker. I nod, taking my papers out of my bag. I started drawing a view of the square. Tyler came with a cup of tea and croissant I took it from him giving him quick smile." I going to call my dad I will be back as soon as possible." Tyler said taking out his mobile.
" Thank's I owe you" I said as I watched him walking away. I began drawing as I had feelings that my power is taking over again. I tried to shake it off but it didn't help it made it only worse so I got up taking only my mobile and a knife. I ran into the toilet cubicle feeling like I'm going to faint.
I sat on floor trying to calm myself down. It didn't help so I stood up and sat on the toilet bowl taking my shirt off. I took the knife and cut my forearm multiple times. I wiped the blood from my arms, got dressed, walked out and washed my hands.
I was looking in the mirrow with my eyes glowing red I breathed in and out after a minute I calmed myself down and walked back to my table.
" Hello" I said walking towards the beutifull woman sitting at my table.
"Oh hi I'm Principal Weems you must be Roxana. Nice to finally meet you."
Principal Weems said taking her hand out for me I shook it and said
" Nice to meet you too Miss Weems." I sat across the table looking at her beutifull face. I didn't think much at first but then I started packing my things and controlling if I have everything. Principal Weems helped me to pack.
"Thank you Miss Weems" I said sitting back at my chair.
" So how old are you?" She asked looking into the questionnaire and back at me.
"I'm 21" I said blushing because knowing i'm much older than every student in the school. She immedietly wrote down and asked another Question.
" What are your abillities?"
"I'm Hybrid between Vampire and Witch. I have more witchy powers than the others, I have telekinesis, mind control and teleport but on the full moon I need to eat blood or I will lose control over my powers and easily harm someone." I said with my eyes starting to get watery. Principal Weems took my hand and I winced in pain. She let my hand go and looked me in the eyes again.
" Okay it's late we should get going. I wil pay don't worry." She said standing up and taking her
purse with her. I didn't think about it and took my suitcases, my bag and walked out waving to Tyler. I waited for Miss Weems in front of the caffe. When she came out she gave me a comforting hug and whispered " I'm here for you Roxana if you need help". She let me go, took my suitcases and started walking towards her car with them I walked behind her to the car she was the same height as me so it wasn't that hard to catch up with her.
I sat in the passager seat next to Miss Weems. The ride was quite and peacefull. "Wow" I said looking out the window at Nevermore. I felt principal's hand on my knee.
"Welcome home darling" Principal Weems said stopping at the parking
lot. She took my luggage and started walking I walked next to her and then it came to me did she say darling!!!
I looked at her confused as we walked her office. She put my luggage beside the fireplace and sat on her chair. I walked towards the table scared to sit.
"It's okay, you can sit" She said with a small smile looking me. I sat across her looking into her eyes.
"Roxan why your parents didn't come with you?" She asked crossing her arms.
"My mother is death a-and my father hates my f-for l-lo-loking like her soo.." I started cry into my hands.
"Roxana I know its hard but you need to stop crying you're crying blood." Miss Weems said crouching next to my taking my hands into hers.
" I ran away few years ago and lived in rented apartments and had many jobs to pay the rents." I said looking down at her as she gave my tisue to wipe the blood of my face. I wiped myself saying " it's the first time I cried blood, do you have any idea why?" I asked looking into my lap embaresed.
" Your body is trying to adjust to your inner vampire. It's okay but can I ask you something?" Principal Weems said making me to look in her eyes.
"Yes you can" I said melting into her touch.
" Do you fight with that inner vampire and do you fight it by hurting your self."
She said letting my hands going sitting next to me in the another armchair still looking at me.
" Yes and yes" I answered don't knowing if it was a good idea to tell her.
"Come with me" I looked at my wrists bleeding. She stood up and walked to the double white door waiting for me. I walked behind her to the bathroom with her trough her bedroom.
She sat me on the bathroom counter, took out first aid kit and walked back to me. She carefully rolled up my sleaves not letting my hands go and looked at my wrists with tears in her eyes. She desinfected and tightly bandage my wrists she straightened up and looked into my eyes not letting my hands go.I looked her in the eyes saying " thank you for taking care of me"
"It's okay and please call me Larrisa when we are alone." She said helping me to stand back to the floor. We walked back in her office and she walked towards her desk taking something out of her table saying " here is your timetable,uniform and key to your dorm in Ophelia hall. Let me show you the way to your dorm." She handed me everything and took the luggage from my hands walking out of her office. On the way to my dorm we didn't talk much only about my inner vampire and how to control it without hurting myself. She sugested taking deep breaths and meditating and of course drinking blood every day.
"Here we are darling your new home. I hope you don't mind being alone." She said putting my luggage on my bed"
"I don't mind thank's for helping me Larrisa " I said giving larrisa quick hug.
